IRS

I received a call from someone saying they were the IRS and that I owe $5,995 in delinquent taxes. I know this isn't the IRS.

I received a voicemail message from "Officer Johnathan Knight, Badge # 46719" saying he is with the Federal Investigation Department of IRS. It was a foreign male voice with broken English. He went on to say there was fraudulent activity on our tax after audit, this is an urgent matter & we would need to rectify this immediately by returning his call, this matter is extremely time sensitive information that you are hiding from the IRS. He did not say who the message was meant for nor provide a phone number to return the call. My caller ID said the call came from New York, NY, telephone #646-583-1390

I received a phone call telling me this was the IRS and that I should call 206-445-6063. I did not call as I felt this was a scam.

I received a phone call on 9-28-15 around 9AM. The number that called me was 2063171648. I answered and it was a recorded message stating that they were from the IRS. They did not leave any names or any identifying information.

The phone call stated the IRS is filing a law suit against me and to call 360-205-3225.
I HAVE NOT ERASED THE PHONE MESSAGE.

We received 2 electronic calls on 9/11/15 at 119pm then 539pm on our house land line stating this is an IRS Lawsuit Alert and indicates what number to call. These calls were made the same day, early afternoon then evening. Then on 9/14/15 at 1151am, three days later same call came through on BUT a different phone was used to place call to call back on.
There was no name indicated in the electronic phone message stating who the call was directed to. Only myself and my husband (we are in our early 60's) live where the call came to. We have had several calls received to our land line with the caller ID stating the land line phone number calling to itself as an incoming call. I don't know if that is related.
