Very transparent in billing
This water district goes above and beyond informing customers of new charges. They help us figure out how to save water so we can save money too.

Everyone is always very kind and helpful.

When I resided in Irvine since 1987, the montly water bill is around $ [redacted] only Water company said in a month there was a charge of some $ [redacted] and later cancelled which I can not accept that saying Why was that charge cancelled and why that month was so high? And after they charged me around $ [redacted] last month, why was the following month around $**? I save water so striclty every month, my monthly water bill is almost always around $** I do not understand why after the high charge of around $** , my bill is still high around $ [redacted] the following month? I checked my payment records in the bank, I have paid 6/5/14--$** 7/9/14--$** 8/4/14--$** 9/4/14--$*** I have never owed you any fees each month The $*** is obviously the computer error You can see before the figure of *** in the statement, there was not any unpaid amount Every month has been paid off and I even remitted the money when I still have a overpaid amount You don't appreciate my having paid you in advance rather you imposed the errorious number to my account

Review: I received a water bill from this company wherein indicates my payment due this month is total $[redacted] but there is a overpay of last two months $[redacted] and $** each, totaling $[redacted] so I need to pay them this month totaling $[redacted]. The large amount of water bill mainly comes from the water service charge:$[redacted] and sewer service charge: $[redacted] These are very high amount as compaired to the normally around some $** and $** each.This is the highest water bill I received as living in Irvine city around 30 years. I called the billing inquiry to ask about if those crazy numbers are mistyping. The lady replied the numbers are accurate. And she spent quite some time to either research or lookd for excuses and came back to phone told me that the high bill is because I did not pay last month. I deeply trusted her of her integrity of saying so. And I was willing to pay the high bill. Then we closed the conversation. But later I accessed my bank bill pay website and found I did pay $** to this water co. on 9/3/14 and they received on 9/4/14. Then I read the bill and found it indicated in the bill that they did received the $** on 9/4/14. And I overpaid them $[redacted] the month before last month. So there are two overpays. And the lady after long time research and read the records told me I did not pay the bill last month. That is why the bill was high as that. It is very obviously she was lying to me for the purpose of justifying the two amazingly high water and sewer service charges totaling $[redacted]. I do not want to call them again to be lied, so I filed this complaint to your esteemed Revdex.com. ThanksDesired Settlement: they must investigate what was happening of the sudden very high water bill and if there is any error and they must refund to me. And tell their employees do not lie.
