Review: In March of 2014, [redacted] (owner of Isaacs Garage)stated he could easily fix the starter on my moped as he has done this type in the past. I brought my unit to him that same month and he stated it would be no problem. I noted I needed it for the Spring and Summer to get back and forth to College and use to run errands around town. Still, not a problem he said. When I did not hear from him come May, I began to inquire. [redacted] stated the guys were riding it in the parking lot and I replied, "Good, atleast it is working". [redacted] then said he needed to tweek it a bit and I was willing to wait. There were a couple of new parts ordered for the machine as he spewed them off to me, the cost was under $50.00 for the parts. In June I began to inquire again and I was told to get it on "Friday". The item was never ready and this went on for 2 months to pick it up on "Friday". Each time I spoke with [redacted] he pushed me off to his employee by stating he has NO idea what is happening with the moped and his employee is working on it. I brought it to the shop because [redacted] said he personally knew how to fix the starter and it would be easy... now he has NO idea what is even going on. This is unsettling since it is his shop. I later discovered that the keys to the unit at some point became lost and a new key had to be made. The Moped is still not running and as of last week, the wires were hanging out of it and locks were missing. [redacted] stated I can pick it up and he will put it back together the way it was brought in meaning not running. This is confusing because the mechanics were riding it in the parking lot. There has not been an honest moment as of yet to the real condition of my Moped. It has been stated there is a possibility he lost parts that are not replaceable and not taking responsibility for his mis doing. I have received complete disrespect for my time and property. [redacted] claims he would not charge me for labor although there has been nothing but damage done to my property.Desired Settlement: Isaacs Garage accepted this Moped and agreed to fix the starter in March of 2014. I believe Isaacs should supply a comparable unit since there is damage to the one I brought in that had occurred while under their care. I also believe there should be compensation for the lost time and wasted gas that has accrued since March of 2014. The Moped is in worse condition than when I took it in and almost 6 months have passed since it was dropped off for a simple repair.
