Isabel Heating & Cooling

This has been the worst experience we have had with a heating and cooling company. Isabel Heating & Cooling was recommended by a neighbor as a company who would be able to service our unit in our townhouse. The serviceman arrived, looked at the unit, sprayed a substance in the motor, and other parts and left. The next day are unit stopped working. After my husband, myself, and my son made multiply attempts to contact the owner and were promised someone would come back out to check the issue but no one showed, and calls began to go unanswered and ignored. We are currently without air (for more than 36 hours) as we are now waiting for another company to fix the problem Isabel Heating & Cooling caused.

My company paid this company close to $200,000 to come and install 99 units on a property. We have had so many issues. When we call and speak to Joey the owner he says I will send someone out. When they do come it is at 4 or 5 in the afternoon when it is almost time for us to leave for the day. HE is now avoiding all my calls and it puts us in a bad position because to call another AC company would void our warranty. This guy is a horrible business owner and I would not recommend him for anything.

I am disappointed to have to write this review, as I take online reviews very seriously and do not write negative ones lightly, but our experience with Isabel Heating and Cooling has been negative. Isabel Heating and Cooling installed a brand new HVAC and ductwork in our recently renovated home. During the summer months, the HVAC clearly wasn't functioning properly, as the home was not cooling down any farther than mid to high 80s. I called Joey to discuss, and he did stop by one time to make a few minor adjustments. After this did not work to solve the problem, we talked again and he said he would have his guys come over to do some work on the ducts to see if that was the problem at no charge. Since then, he has completely fallen off the map. I have left at least a half dozen phone messages with no call back. The few times he has actually answered when I called, he immediately says he will call me back later because he is busy, but then he doesn't call back or answer when I call (this has happened about 4 times and now feels that he is purposely avoiding us). We have tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, as he seemed like a nice guy and I'm sure is busy, but after months of no response, we have to assume he never intends to come to repair to HVAC. We are beyond frustrated with this situation, but now have no choice but to pay for a separate company to repair this issue which has been estimated to be quite costly. I would not recommend Isabel Heating and Cooling to anyone for HVAC needs.

They're Outstanding and hard-working individuals. Clean, fast, and friendly. Got the job done in a timely matter and we enjoyed having them around.

Paid over $7000 to install a new furnace and air conditioner that included running duct work to a large room addition. Was needed due to a chimney fire in December. The added room was not “liveable” during the time of the install as the roof had just been replaced and drywall & electrical work was still underway. Now that drywall work is done and floors are stripped, all work has halted because the area the new furnace was supposed to include is not heated at all. Sent a technician last week. He told my wife the ducts added were just cold air returns. Floors can not be varnished until room is warmer so varnish can dry. I have called repeatedly for over a week and so has ServPro representatives. No one will even call us back to resolve. Have had to request another company to come inspect it and help us get progress moving again.
