Isak Heating & Cooling is a SCAM
DO NOT HIRE OR WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. IT'S A SCAM. THEY WERE CONTRACTED BY MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY TO CHECK MY FURNACE. THE TECH REFUSED TO DO A PROPER INSPECTION AND ALSO REFUSED TO COMPLETE THE REQUIRED REPORT. I GOT SCAMMED OUT OF $100. I AM FILING REPORTS WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND ALL CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCIES.

My company, Isak Heating & A/C is a subcontractor for The Appliances Repair Man(Crafton Appliances)To clarify,, I was just the technician in this instance. In response to complaint number ***, the customer was charged by AppliancesRepair Man $as a diagnosis fee, which is
nonrefundable and is signed by thecustomer before the diagnosis is completedThis however, is deducted from the final costof the repairAfter I completed my diagnosis, I discovered that the heating element burnedout, the cord of the dryer was unsafely connected and it was beginning to burn, and theexhaust hose was not expelling air outside but inside the houseI would have had to repairall these issues to make sure the dryer was working properly and safelyWe have a flat ratefor the labor that is done specific to the parts that need to be replaced, whether it takes meminutes or hours. The customer then agreed the dryer should be fixed and I went to buy the part requiredand on my way back, the customer called and said they no longer wish to repair the dryer. The customer stated, that the cost of the repairs was too high for their liking and that theycalled a manufacture that told them the price of the partSince the customer no longerwished to repair the dryer, I returned the new part and went back to the customer’sresidence to return the broken part and assemble the dryer back to its previous condition. The customer called Appliances Repair Man (Crafton Appliances) and wished to have the$diagnostic fee refundedSince this is nonrefundable, the customer again told methat they do wish to repair the dryer, after I already assembled itI told the customer thatthe job was already canceled and another appointment would have to be madeAfter myconsultation with Appliances Repair Man, they informed me that the customer did indeedreceive a refund for the diagnostic fee (which is nonrefundable).I believe that this complaint is no fault of my company.Thank youIsakHeating&A/C

Review: I called Crafton Appliance repair to fix my dryer. The technician was extremely accomadating as to scheduling an appointment at a time that was convenient for me. The technician arrived and after a short time period let me know that the electric coils in the dryer needed to be replaced. The diagnosis cost me $55.00, that would be deducted from my final cost. I was told for the labor that would take him less than 20 minutes I would pay $98. Ok I do think this is steep, I hope in my next lifetime I make $296 an hour. The next cost would be the piece which would cost me $120.00. When he left to get the piece, I decided to do some research and called the manufacturer. I give them my model and was informed by the customer service representative that this particular part is $55.50. This means the part as marked up 116%. I called Crafton Appliance and was told that they didn't know where the repairman was getting the part from so they couldn't confirm it. After calling the repairman and him telling me his company decided on the price of the parts. I told them I would be reporting them to the Revdex.com. The repairman came back and replaced the defective coils and told me he couldn't do the work because I complained. Would I recommend this business absolutely not.Desired Settlement: I'd like to be refunded my deposit of $55.00, since they now refuse to complete the service.
