Here are the answers to the complaint with Mrs***,
The consumer has indeed
previously contacted ISE Academy about the enclosed complaintWe intend to settle the
complaint by August of
Enclosed I have wrote ISE Academy’s argument:
On January 05, Mr***
*** *** came to enroll in ISE
Academy’s English classesHe enrolled
for the period of January thru February Mr*** received his first
English class on Sunday January 11th, but he said that he couldn't
come on SundaysHe then stated he could only take classes on weekday mornings
At that moment we only had an intermediate level open .Due to his knowledge of
the English language, he couldn't take those classes because he was looking for
basic level
On March of we opened a basic classWe informed him about it, but he
said that he couldn't take that class and that he could probably take the class
for the next cycleIn April we contacted Mr*** again to let him
know that the course was available again for him to takeHe once again said
that he was working and that he was unable to take the classes on the schedule
daysOnce again, on May we contacted him again to let him know that we
had opened new classes scheduled on Saturdays to see if he could attend to any
of themAgain, he said that he couldn't attend to any of those classesJune
was the last time that Mr*** and I spoke about his classes, and for
the last time he said the same that he said the previous monthsAfter that
we received a phone call of a person called Reyna *** months later on
July telling us that her husband Mr*** had enrolled in this school
and that he was unable to take the classes because he was working at the moment
therefore, they wanted a reimbursementMr*** never told us directly
that he wanted his money back or to cancel the classes, his wife spoke for him
but the deal was never opened with Mrs***Mrs*** keeps on
calling about the money back but she has failed to bring Mr*** with her
or bring in a Notarized Power of Attorney letterWhat Mrand Mrs***
also failed to read was the refund policy on the bottom of the receipt that was
handed to Mr*** at the time of inscription stating he has days money
back if he didn’t attend the classUntil today we have not received any phone
call from Mr*** *** to talk about this situationWe are still
offering Mr*** his ESL month course at ISE Academy
We are really sorry for this painful situation
and hope to have the best response to this incidentIf you have any questions
please feel free to give me a call at any time
I have attached the original receipt from the student, ISE Academy's Refund Policy, and the letter Mrs*** brought to the school

I, [redacted], wife of [redacted], have spoken with multiple representatives from Ingles Sin Estres regarding the refund of our money for a class my husband has not attended. We paid for the class January 5, 2015 and it was mentioned to him you would contact him when you had enough student’s enrolled to hold the first basic level class. The class was not offered until March. We would not have paid for the class in January if we were made aware by the representatives that the class was not going to possibly be available months later. When we received a call in March stating the class was available my husband stated he was not able to attend and would like a refund. The representative stated to wait for better classes to be refunded. My husband, frustrated for being dismissed by your representatives, asked if I would contact the school and request the refund. I have spoken multiple times regarding the refund. I was told by a representative that I would be guaranteed a refund and was able to pick it up July 1, 2015 and the director would give me a call regardless during the week.
On July 6, 2015, I called to check the status of the refund and was informed my husband, [redacted], would have to write a letter requesting the refund. We were also told the letter was necessary for your accountant for tax purposes. We happily complied and dropped the letter off directly to the school on July 9, 2015. We patiently waited to receive a call back in regards to the refund we were guaranteed and after not receiving any correspondence I called on July 20. During this call I was informed again I would receive a call from the director. After being promised a refund on July 1 and waiting for correspondence regarding the refund for an extended amount of time, my husband and I wrote a letter to the Revdex.com for a formal complaint.
The next day we did receive a call from [redacted] whom identified herself as the owner of Ingles Sin Estres. Mrs. [redacted] stated she bought the business in April of 2015 and she would on provide me a partial refund. The reason she provided was “because you have bills and teachers to pay.” After speaking to Mrs. [redacted] I researched the Secretary of State website to verify the owner of Ingles Sin Estres. The owner is listed as [redacted], this information is based on the public information report effective July 24, 2015. Also, Mr. [redacted] was the individual whom responded to the letter written to the Revdex.com.
I am once again writing and formally requesting a full refund of the $200.00. We were promised this on July 1, 2015. We were then requested to complete a few tasks to only be told no because you have teachers and bills to pay. My husband did not attend this class and thus we do not owe you any compensation to your institute nor your employees. We feel Mrs. [redacted] falsely represented herself as the owner and have provided the necessary documentation proving this fact. We will not be doing business with you in the future, nor will we be recommending your services to any of our family or friends. We do not appreciate the lack of professionalism in this matter. Please provide the full refund that was promised to us on July 1, 2015. If we receive a denial for our full refund we will be pursuing other avenues in order to obtain our refund.
Thanks you,
[redacted]
