ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I did respond to Pete. The salesman had a responsibility to inform us that there was no spare tire and what could happen if we got a blowout that could not be fixed with the pump. If a tire can not be repaired the pump is not good and my daughter will be stranded where she is. The roadside service that Acura and my insurance company supplies will come out and change the tire.  But we do not have a spare. We are talking safety not an option like Acura says. When my daughter got a flat that could not be fixed, the pump they supply is no good.  If I was offered a tire at the time of purchase I would have bought it. They wanted to sell us a automatic start and tinted windows and other things that we did not need. We should have been offered a spare tire at the time of purchase. I do not feel I should give Acura anymore more. I am willing to exchange the pump for a spare tire.

My name is Frank O[redacted], General Manager at Island Acura.  I spoke to [redacted] today [redacted].  After reviewing the situation with my sales manager and Acura Rep, I decided to take care of the portion that Acura corporate wanted [redacted] to pay.  Island Acura will provide at no charge to [redacted] the spare tire kit he is requesting, and we will also absorb any cost that are not covered by Acura corporate.

Review: My name is [redacted]. My case number with Acura is my phone number.([redacted]) I have been in contact with Kyle from customer relations regarding a spare tire that I did not receive with a new ILX. The salesman had a responsibility to inform us that the car did not come with a spare and offer to include one with the car.

This car will be driven by my daughter to school and work. A spare tire is not an add-on.It is a piece of safety equipment and I am asking Acura to exchange the tire repair kit for a spare tire. A simple request. I will return to Acura what they call "Tire repair kit "

However it has been over a week speaking with Kyle and I am no closer than I was a week ago. He says he will cal me back by the end of the business day. He never does. I end up calling him and leaving a message. He will not put me in contact with the supervisor of client relations or the district field manager. My last message from Kyle was that someone will call me back in 2 -3 days. I have never seen such horrible customer service.

This will be my last time trying to get a spare tire from Acura. Please review my case with whom ever you must.

I feel like I purchased a car with no support from the dealer or the corporate headquarters.Desired Settlement: I just want a spare tire. I will exchange the repair pump that the supply.
