The plans needed to be revised because the drawings were inadequate as M [redacted] admitted after speaking with an engineerAll documentation has not been provided and I am still trying to contact the architect who stamped the plans for signatures to file for permit as asked by the building departmentThe facts remain Even the first set of drawings were not presented in the time agreed upon There was a lack of due diligence in the preparation of the drawings There was no consultation as to the submitting of the plans or what additional documentation or engineering I would need I don't expect any compensation as to pursue is a waste of energy and frankly not worth my timeI just want for the record a complaint so others know what they may get from M***At this point I consider this matter satisfactorily dealt withM***s comments about my business are simply untrue and irrelevant to the issue at hand and is representative to how well he pays attention Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted]

MrMatthew Cintas of Island Building Services is very highly recommended by me as a home designer and project managerMy husband and I have completed this past month the construction of our dream home in HawaiiEven though we spend the majority of our time in California Matthew worked with us thru e-mails in designing us a home that perfectly fits our lifestyle and that was within our 500k budgetMrCintas assisted me further by meeting me at the local building department & helped me thru the entire permit submittal process & followed up answering their comments quickly , as we received our building permit less than a month after submittalKIIWI Construction is the licensed In-house Building contractor with Island Building Services & Steve Ward, the owner, provided us with a beautiful custom home within budget and he was completed earlier than expectedThank You Matthew Cintas & the entire Islad Building Services team ! We love our new custom home in Kona Hawaii

Dear Sirs, All work was completed and all information and documents required to get a Hawaii building permit WAS FURNISHED TO CLIENT as per our agreementThe complainer, [redacted] , asked for revisions to plans based on his home owners association review which was not a part of our agreement Even though the revisions he asked for were not part of our agreement I revised the plans (at no additional charge) and spent my own time getting documents re-stamped by ARCHITECT and I even paid for the printing costs to try and satisfy the desires of the homeowner [redacted] Unfortunately ,this did not appease Mr [redacted] and their is no further action I can take or that is needed to submit the plans to the building department as per our agreement Mr [redacted] owes me an additional $2,for all the revisions and changes made to his plans after they were already completed and stamped, however , I will not follow up on these monies unless other issues arrive from himComplainant , [redacted] currently operates an ILLEGAL home based business here in Hawaii called " [redacted] " which provides property management services for Hawaii Home Owners who live out of state Complainant, [redacted] , does not have a G.Etax license nor does he have a valid real estate license as required by The State of Hawaii to operate such type of business

Cintas M*** was hired to copy a set of residential home ( around sq ft living) plans I had with a few changes to CAD software so as to create a printable version to submit to the county for permits.our agreement was that he would have them ready in one month and that he would help with the building permitIt was understood that I wanted a deck of the back of the house as well and that there was a slope the deck was to span overThe first set he gave me months later had no details on the footings so I asked him to add them which he did but they were incorrect and denied by the review boardBeing that I wanted to get started right away I simply asked him to remove the deck and push the house forward on the site plan as the way he drew The house it wouldn't fit on the lotWhen I finally got the plans back he gave no assistance with the building permit which caused more delays as Hawaii county requires mechanical details if there is to be an AC unit also he had a instant water
