Island Detailing Etc

Review: On 5/** I got into an auto accident. The police gave my car to Island Detailing (Registered [redacted]) . The form they gave me and signed on my behalf while I was in the hospital said that towing was $25, and the storage of the vehicle was $25 for the first three days and $27 per day afterwards. They handed my car over to City Island Autobody on [redacted] and charged me $90 per day and my insurance only covered $50 of it. They also charged me $75 clean up which says on the receipt the police gave me said $25. They also charged me other bogus charges which my [redacted] adjuster said was excessive. An unknown $275 additional charge (when my adjuster [redacted] inquired about this they hung up, I called City Island Autobody and the owner Edwin said to cease and desist from contacting him about my car, I have it in a text snap shot).

DCA [redacted] (Expired License 4/**/2014 they shouldn't be towing cars. They gave my car to City Island Autobody, (They are either giving them business or is the same party charging excessive fees).

The fake address on the slip given to the [redacted] precinct says they are at Registered [redacted]. I went there after I left the hospital and my car wasn't at this location. (They have a magic jack number, not a land line number). When I called days later and asked for the owner they hung up the phone. I was scammed $835.Desired Settlement: The $835 excess charged.
