We are in receipt of your Revdex.com Complaint against Bonander Truck & Trailer as filed with your agency by [redacted] .In responding to the Complaint, I would like to stress to you that we have been in business in California since 1947; we strive to address all customer complaints, when they arise, as promptly as possible We have absolutely attempted to resolve the issue that Mr [redacted] has presented twiceMr [redacted] purchased a PJ Dump Trailer from us on October 12, On October 14, he returned and stated that the trailer had a hydraulic leak We responded by keeping the trailer overnight, wherein we cleaned it up, raised and lowered the dump bed at least times in testing the hydraulic system, and we could not replicate the problem on site We checked the battery on the trailer, and the battered was low PJ Trailers has advised us, in the past, that a low battery can cause intermittent leak issues with the hydraulic system (They recommend use of the trailer only if the battery is charged above 50%) We typically advise our customers of this The trailer is equipped with a slow "trickle charger" that needs to be plugged in and that charger will maintain the battery charge during the periods when the trailer is not being used The trailer battery can also be charged via a conventional battery charger, too We additionally advise our customers that the slow charger that comes with the trailer can take as long as days to charge a battery to full capacity. After an extensive troubleshooting period, we called Mr [redacted] and advised him that we could not replicate his problem and advised him that he could pick up the trailer While we couldn't find a leak, we did advise the customer that his battery was low and this could be the source of the leak.Approximately a month later, Mr [redacted] came back complaining of the same problem -- that the hydraulic pump was leaking fluid on his driveway Once again, we cleaned the hydraulics, and ran the dump bed up and down a half-dozen times During the operation of the trailer, we could not make the trailer replicate the problem We tested the battery, and once again, it was low -- it was showing a charge of approximately 40% Again, we advised Mr [redacted] that a low battery could cause an intermittent leak After keeping the trailer overnight, it was released back to Mr [redacted] .We have not heard from Mr [redacted] until this week, approximately February 16, wherein he advised he was having the same problem In exasperation, [redacted] ***, the Trailer Department Sales Manager advised Mr [redacted] to bring the trailer in again and that we would go through it a third time and, if necessary, we would open a warranty claim with PJ to replace the hydraulic pump [redacted] , Mello has said, agreed to this The next day we received a complaint from the Revdex.com.While we're willing to do whatever we can to help Mr [redacted] , including arranging a warranty claim with PJ Trailers, we cannot do so if he insists on opening claims with the Revdex.com instead of bringing the trailer to us.We, furthermore, believe that the problem is possibly "user-error." We have instructed Mr [redacted] repeatedly that he needs to maintain a charge above 50% on the trailer Each time it has been brought into our facility, it has been considerably below this.Mr [redacted] has indicated that he has made phone calls or initiated contact that has been ignored or unreturned I can personally assure you that this is NOT the case; that any contact he has made with Bonander has been timely and professionally returned. We respectfully request that this Revdex.com complaint be closed and we strongly caution the Revdex.com against making this complaint public on any internet forum since the allegations are without merit.Very Truly Yours,BONANDER TRUCK & TRAILER [redacted] ***,General Manager - Truck & Trailer Operations

as promptly as possible.  We have absolutely attempted to resolve the issue that Mr. [redacted] has presented twice. Mr. [redacted] purchased a PJ Dump Trailer from us on October 12, 2015.  On October 14, he returned and stated that the trailer had a hydraulic leak.  We responded by keeping the trailer overnight, wherein we cleaned it up, raised and lowered the dump bed at least 10 times in testing the hydraulic system, and we could not replicate the problem on site.  We checked the battery on the trailer, and the battered was low.  PJ Trailers has advised us, in the past, that a low battery can cause intermittent leak issues with the hydraulic system.  (They recommend use of the trailer only if the battery is charged above 50%)  We typically advise our customers of this.  The trailer is equipped with a slow "trickle charger" that needs to be plugged in and that charger will maintain the battery charge during the periods when the trailer is not being used.  The trailer battery can also be charged via a conventional battery charger, too.  We additionally advise our customers that the slow charger that comes with the trailer can take as long as 3 days to charge a battery to full capacity. After an extensive troubleshooting period, we called Mr. [redacted] and advised him that we could not replicate his problem and advised him that he could pick up the trailer.  While we couldn't find a leak, we did advise the customer that his battery was low and this could be the source of the leak.Approximately a month later, Mr. [redacted] came back complaining of the same problem -- that the hydraulic pump was leaking fluid on his driveway.  Once again, we cleaned the hydraulics, and ran the dump bed up and down a half-dozen times.  During the operation of the trailer, we could not make the trailer replicate the problem.  We tested the battery, and once again, it was low -- it was showing a charge of approximately 40%.  Again, we advised Mr. [redacted] that a low battery could cause an intermittent leak.  After keeping the trailer overnight, it was released back to Mr. [redacted].We have not heard from Mr. [redacted] until this week, approximately February 16,  wherein he advised he was having the same problem.  In exasperation, [redacted], the Trailer Department Sales Manager advised Mr. [redacted] to bring the trailer in again and that we would go through it a third time and, if necessary, we would open a warranty claim with PJ to replace the hydraulic pump.  [redacted], Mello has said, agreed to this.  The next day we received a complaint from the Revdex.com.While we're willing to do whatever we can to help Mr. [redacted], including arranging a warranty claim with PJ Trailers, we cannot do so if he insists on opening claims with the Revdex.com instead of bringing the trailer to us.We, furthermore, believe that the problem is possibly "user-error."  We have instructed Mr. [redacted] repeatedly that he needs to maintain a charge above 50% on the trailer.  Each time it has been brought into our facility, it has been considerably below this.Mr. [redacted] has indicated that he has made phone calls or initiated contact that has been ignored or unreturned.  I can personally assure you that this is NOT the case; that any contact he has made with Bonander has been timely and professionally returned. We respectfully request that this Revdex.com complaint be closed and we strongly caution the Revdex.com against making this complaint public on any internet forum since the allegations are without merit.Very Truly Yours,BONANDER TRUCK & TRAILER[redacted],General Manager - Truck & Trailer Operations

In response to Mr. [redacted], for being in business for so long, he did not handle this situation professionally. Much of what was stated against my complaint is far from the truth. Notably, I was never given documentation on what was done to my trailer every time I have brought it in. I was told that it would be taken care of and then after, Mr. [redacted] never mentioned what the problem was when I came back to retrieve my trailer. As for saying he replied timely and advised me on what was wrong—this never happened. I would have to call him back multiple times; Mr. [redacted] would hardly answer and hardly informed me about the status of my trailer. For Mr. [redacted] to claim to be such a well-established business, nothing has been done professionally to resolve this problem. In other words, Mr. [redacted] never informed me what was done on my trailer nor provided information on what may have been causing the problem; I was never presented written documentation to clarify any problems or the processes they’ve done to test my trailer out, and he hardly did anything to solve the issue at hand. Essentially, Mr. [redacted] is blatantly distorting the truth. Mr. [redacted]’s descriptions on what he claims to have transpired when I brought the trailer in never happened. I was never told anything about any form of arrangement about a warranty claim against PJ trailers. Mr. [redacted]’s response is no more than trying to cover himself up and attempting to paint himself as some victim in order to avoid fixing the issue. Since day one, I have been having problems with this trailer. I have owned trailers before; I already know I’m supposed to charge the battery and I made sure to charge it every time before use. I bought this trailer new to avoid these problems and in the end, I was given nothing but trouble and it seems like Mr. [redacted] has sold me a faulty trailer.  Above all, I just want my trailer fixed; I am not trying bring anyone down. I am writing this complaint because this business has been unprofessional and vague when it came to fixing my trailer. It seemed more like nothing was done and as if Mr. [redacted] was avoiding the problem. I respectfully ask that I get a refund on the trailer or at least be provided a replacement free of charge. Best Regards, [redacted]
