Island Drafting

We had a great experience with Island Drafting until failed to follow through with their promise to cover the cost of a repair due to a drafting error. When it was discovered that the drafting plan had not placed a short section of the foundation footing in the right place, the drafting team came up with an alternate design and agreed to cover the cost of the change. Unfortunately, the proposed change was not acceptable to the client (as it would cause changes to a section of the house that was not under construction), so the client requested the cost of removing and fixing the footing be covered. The proposed change and the actual change were similar in cost (about $2300). A breakdown of the cost was requested by the drafter and Island drafting went back on their promise and refused to cover the cost.
