Aloha Revdex.com,In response to complaint ID # [redacted] customer [redacted] had stated he came in possibly purchase a pre-owned vehicle on 5-25-He was not happy with the condition of the vehicles that he looked at and I ft the dealershipHe called saying the vehicles were not nice enough in the $1,000price range and in tructed Island Honda to find him a vehicle for much greater value a discussed it to him for approximately $1,We apparently did not have a vehicle he liked for the price andtherefore he mad a complaintOn behalf of Island Honda, we would have liked to have a vehicle thathe liked for the price range he requested, however, we did not have a vehicle that met his satisfactionThanks,Jim W***

I discussed this with our service manager and the service advisor - I apologize for the delay. I was told your refund was mailed out last Monday. We here at Island Honda value your business - Aloha

My good friend arrived on island to find her 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid not starting. She knows nothing about cars, and is still distraught with having recently lost her husband who took car of all the automotive issues. Anyway, she called Island Honda, and they offered to pay for a cab to get down there. A few hours later they worked out a deal for a new Honda Suv. They would pay her $750 trade in for the Escape, which they volunteered to tow away at no charge. Later that day I heard about what had happened, and the low trade in amount given (only 78000 miles on the vehicle, which usually drove great). I went by and was able to start the car immediately, but the deal was already sealed. It was towed away 2 days later. Today I saw it listed for $8995! This is criminal. This is called "preying on unsuspecting women". Maui is an expensive place to live, and run a business. Dealers deserve the best deals they can make within reason, but without breaching a code of ethics and decency. I have heard many great things about the service at this facility, and this should not reflect on the many reputable people there
