a check). However, I take exception to their note that I was aware of their mailing the check. Had they responded to my calls or in some way contacted me about a delay I would not have wasted more time by contacting the Revdex.com. But, that just adds to my anger and is their loss with respect to future dealings.
My thanks to the Revdex.com for their involvement.

channels that the customer had explored. When the customer had originally leased the vehicle, a lease agreement was signed that clearly explains the early termination liability. A lease end advisor at Kia Motor Finance is able to answer any questions over the phone regarding the lease end process and what fees are customary during an early lease termination. The “Lease-End” section on Kia’s website summarizes the lease end process as well. We at Island Kia believe that the complaint is misaddressed. The customer states that the Kia lease was surrendered to a non-Kia dealership in exchange for a lease on a non-Kia vehicle. We feel that the dealership that had helped the customer with their new vehicle should have either better informed the customer on what potential liability charges should be expected and/or assumed responsibility for any potential charges resulting from terminating a Kia lease early in exchange for a non-Kia vehicle. Island Kia’s role in this case had been merely as a turn-in point for the customer’s vehicle. Upon receiving the off-lease vehicle it is our obligation to process it which entails reporting to Kia Motor Finance that the vehicle had been received at our location and assisting Kia Motor Finance with vehicle recovery. Such obligation had been satisfied. While we regret that the customer is burdened by an unexpected expense, we believe that the complaint should be addressed towards the non-Kia dealership that helped the customer with their new vehicle and with surrendering their Kia lease

The $310 check was mailed to the customer on 2/**/17 and he is fully aware of it!
