Bought a Volvo through this dealership everything was perfect until we actually bought the car and signed papersEveryone was nice until we started having issues with the car within less than a month after buyingFirst off in the contract we signed they were to have someone come by to fix the fabric headliner, haven't seen anyone come by for months following the purchase until the day after I threatened to call my lawyer, then when the guy shows up at 10:am he works for about an hour then leaves said he was coming back soon and never showed(leaving my car non-drivable) I then called him at 6pm that night and he said he had another job and couldn't finish it that daySecond off this car was sold to me with old oil in it that was known by the dealership, a shift lock problem where I couldn't shift into park(I was told that its just the way Volvos are) yet I had it fixedAnother problem was the check engine light was on and the car wasn't running or starting right so I brought it in just like they told me to, then I got there they treated me like jerksThen they tested the car brain, told me that nothing was wrong with it, that it was perfectly fine(after their mechanic looked at it) and that lights weren't reset being the reason for the check engineAbout a week later check engine light comes on again and car starts running funny againAt this point I had been to Island Motors about times and never received any helpful work on my car like they promised so I was fed up with themBrought the car to a foreign car dealership, the spark plugs were burnt up and older than hell, what I don't understand why couldn't Island Motors find thisThese guys are jerks, and never once did what they said they wouldThe whole car buying seemed like a HUGE scheme on their part and showed crappy customer service and didn't fix or pay for one thing wrong with the car
