Roland call me back, I gave him the info he needed to replace my water tank; we set an appointment; they were on time, knowledgeable and efficient: great experience as far as plumbing is concerned; a little cloud though: Rwas rude to another crew member working at my house that day and then apologized to my son for how he approached him thinking he was part of the other workersThat was really unfortunateI guess we all have something to learn
Made an appointment for a Monday, called on Monday past the appointment time, was told the appointment was made for TuesdayAcceptable, mistakes happenMade a new appointment for Wednesday at 10:AMCall in at 11:AM to find that he has been trying to call (apparently phone line was busy)Did not know if he was going to be late or what, no explanation givenHe asked for the address (the third time since the first appointment was booked), and then asked for directions to the homeI recently moved to the area and was not able to give proper directions, I apologized and he said: "Don't you know where you live?" I no longer felt comfortable in welcoming him into my home and said we would go with someone else, and apologized for not being able to give proper directions
Perhaps he was having a bad day, but this experience was a sour one for me
An overall positive experience dealing with Island Plumbing. They responded right away to my call for assistance and were friendly and courteous when they came to my house to replace a faulty hot water tank. Installation was completed promplty and professionally that same day.
