Review: In June of 2014, a friend and I each bought 6 service packages/certificates from this spa. At the time, it was named "Relax n Glo", same address, same phone number. The packages were $50.00 each for either a massage or a facial. We used two of these in February 2015. We each have 4 packages left worth $200.00. "Island Spring Spa" bought the business from "Relax n Glo" (date unknown). When we tried to make appointments this month, April 2015, we were told that "Island Spring Spa" would not honor these packages/certificates. We received no warning, neither phone call or email message, telling us there was a time by which the packages/certificates had to be used; they do not have an expiration date on them. We were offered NOTHING for our $200.00 apiece purchases. We should be able to use these packages/certificates or be offered some compensation for our $200.00 apiece loss. If "Island Spring Spa" bought the business, they bought everything including outstanding services obligations, didn't they? This is a travesty of good business practices.Desired Settlement: Refund $200.00 to me and $200.00 to my friend, [redacted]. Or honor the packages/certificates and allow us to use them for services.

Review: The Island spring spa has changed its name and claims its under new management. The previous company name was called [redacted]. The spa is still in the same exact location. The company states because its under new management, they will no longer honor the already paid in full massages. The receptionist states "you can dispute it from the bank if it is within one year"Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund

This is a response from Island Spring Spa for its claim for a client named [redacted], who purchased massages through a company named [redacted], that leased the same location 2 years ago. Since the time [redacted] purchased the massages, two different spa companies have taken over the location for 2 years now. We are operating under the same location/business model with the same phone number. However, we have no affiliation with [redacted] in any way. We feel this customer should pursue the company who sold the package to him, which is rightfully [redacted]. We have no way to refund this customer because we have not sold this customer any services since the start of this company. I would like the Revdex.com to direct the customer to the proper channel, which is the owner of [redacted], which is a public information on [redacted] or the company's website. We feel this sorry for this incident, but we are a new company which has nothing to do with any previous businesses' debt/liens even if we share the same number/location.

Review: It appears that several months ago, Island Spring Spa bought a business called [redacted] where I had purchased a spa package with 4 services remaining. I called last week to set an appointment and was told the new owners would not honor the vouchers - worth $200. They appeared to have bought the full business including phone numbers and keeping the same massage and facial therapists. But are not honoring the former clients. I talked to the receptionist who said that was their policy. I asked her to talk with the owner and was called back telling me that the owner said indeed that was their policy. That they would lose money on it. They don't seem to realize that they also have lost a long time client of the former spa.Desired Settlement: I don't expect a refund but would like to have the vouchers for services to be honored. Quite honestly I would settle for even just 2 be accepted.
