THE WORST SERVICE IN LONG ISLAND!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! I had problems with my refrigerator and I called Island Wide AppliancesThey came to my home and our tech was there for mins! He left stating both of my refrigerators were fixedLater on during the day, I realized of the fridge wasn't workingI immediately called them to notified themThey told me they had to order an icemaker and the total charge would be $When I called George to ask for the breakdown of the price, he went berserkHe was so angry I was questioning the priceI was so confused and refused to get off the phone until I got a clear breakdown for what I was payingAt the end of the call " he suddenly" realized the price was $Then I told him I wanted an invoice and he yelled saying he doesn't have emailI asked to have it faxed and then he agreedI told him that once I speak to my husband I'll called him backLater that day I see a charge of $I called him in the am to follow up and he acted like we never spokeThis guy George is a "snake" very untrustworthyHe stated his coworker billed the chargeWhat kind of office is this where no one has communicationOnce I said this he ordered me to silent and to let him talkBlah blah blah came out of his mouthI requested to speak to his supervisor since I never want to do business with him againHe denied me the call and I told him Thank you for his services but I wont be using this company ever again!!!!

In August of my dishwasher was working perfectly when I received a recall notice from *** regarding a faulty electrical connector to the dishwasher heater creating a risk of fire I stopped using my dishwasher, contacted ***, they sent me the replacement part, and told me I had to call of repair centers in my area Island Wide Appliance installed the new part in September, but the serviceman couldn't get the dishwasher to function properly He said I needed another new part Despite multiple calls to Island Wide and *** (who assured me the part was on back order, but mine would be expedited), it is now mid December and I was forced to hire a non *** authorized repair man, who came today and found that a water hose kinked when the dishwasher was put back in place in September - at a cost of $ It is working perfectly now

We have a 4 month old Frigidaire refrigerator we placed in our garage that suddenly wouldn't keep ice cream frozen. Under warranty, Frigidaire directed us to service companies. For no particular reason we first contacted General Keystone Service who were, in a word, incompetent. We then called Island Wide and were handled courteously and professionally. More importantly, the Service technician, Mark, was OUTSTANDING. He knew exactly what the issue was and followed up with us after he came to our home. He knew more than the Frigidaire service center people. His insight and information have helped us build a case to have the refrigerator replaced. I can not recommend him more highly.

I stopped using my dishwasher, contacted [redacted], they sent me the replacement part, and told me I had to call 1 of 2 repair centers in my area. Island Wide Appliance installed the new part in September, but the serviceman couldn't get the dishwasher to function properly. He said I needed another new part. Despite multiple calls to Island Wide and [redacted] (who assured me the part was on back order, but mine would be expedited), it is now mid December and I was forced to hire a non [redacted] authorized repair man, who came today and found that a water hose kinked when the dishwasher was put back in place in September - at a cost of $92.33. It is working perfectly now.

Review: January *, 2014Problem: Viking Microwave Drawer Model VMOD 2411SS -- product failure. In particular, our Viking microwave drawer stopped operating so in early November, 2013 I called an authorized service provider "Island Wide Appliance Service and Parts" in Patchogue. Spoke with their scheduling person in the office, Lorraine, (###-###-####). They came to diagnose and said it required three parts: Diode, Transformer, and ?? . Ordered the parts from [redacted], and they received the wrong parts. Reorder was placed on December [redacted] according to my followup with both Island Wide and [redacted], in [redacted]. Perhaps there is much out of everyones control, but if you pay for an extended 5 year warranty, and then parts are delayed or not available, there seems to be a disconnect in what is advertised and provided, this includes the quality of the manufacturer.Plessers; Island Wide Appliance Service; and [redacted] Authorized Distributor is there anyone of you that could get this resolved for me? I am no longer willing to wait it is now January 2014 and Viking name is truly tarnished.Desired Settlement: I was hopeful to have the parts installed and the microwave working by this time. I am writing this so others can learn from my experience.
