Had a great experienceThe owner was clear about situation and possiblity further damage that may exist after glass is removed Repair was done well, quickly and priced reasonableOwner kept me informed about process throughoutHe also explained how things were put together and why prices differ so much between modelsI felt well informed and more in powered about the repair I checked other repair shop but this one seemed most customer centric, knowledgeable and fairI was right and can't be more satisfied Not only likely to recommend, I already did to friend and wife's co-worker

If you use this place, and I do NOT recommend it, to repair a broken display glass, carefully review their diagramming of "additional damage" because they will use any additional marks to invalidate their warranty Even though my iPad is protected in a plastic frame and surrounded by a rubber cover, they claimed there was new damage, though I know that the iPad had not been dropped or otherwise badly handledThe jumping around of the apps is caused by their poorly seating the glass

I took my LG Gto get the screen repaired 9/22/2016, we signed an agreement to have ONLY the screen repairedWe were told if there were any other issues we would receive a phone call before any additional repairs were madeWe left a $non-refundable deposit ( which we understood was simply for him even opening up to phone to look)We never received a call, until it was time to pick up the phoneWhen we went to pick up the phone, we were informed that he had found corrosion due to water damage in the phone (which we were unaware of previously) but that he had cleaned it out & fixed the screen anyway WITHOUT consulting usHe told us that there were issues with the screen due to the corrosion but that he had "done us a favor cleaning it out without charging extra"Within an hour, the screen was not even usable as the corrosion was having such bad effectsHad we received a call about the water damage before he fixed the screen (which we were told we would get a call if there

glued on by factory specs, and just becasue the glass is cracked does not mean it has caused more damage. In this case the damage from the crack has caused more damage to the Digitizer that is built onto the LCD. I told the customer I would try to save the cell phone from more repair.    At first we thought it was a software issue, due toi the cell phone want to update all on its own after the glass repair was done. Sometime the updates have been known to cause issues. The issue was partial software, but the main issue is in the digitizer it self due to the cracked glass. The cusotmer did call in yesterday asking what is going, I informed them I was workiing on the issue, and as of last night I was working on the repair to see it it would take. It will not take, I told the customer I would contact them today on Feb 8, and as of today we are going to replace the LCD and digitizer because they do come as one unit. This is something we do not carry on hand do to how expensive they are. The cusotmer did state they wanted there money back. But the repair was performed and there was not charge to this repair. I am not the person who physically dropped off the phone nor signed the warrenty, but that person is my mother who has helped me file this complaint. Also it was my $ that was used for the repair. If it is an issue with the name on the complaint, I will be more than happy to have my mom file a new one under her name for the same issue.

I am such a clutz when it comes to leaving stuff in my hands. I might break my phone completely or just crack the screen, obviously verizon charges too much to be getting replacements so I tried this business out as I like to support small business. I was greeted with a smile and had a pleasant experience. My phone is like new. The best of all is that I did not have to wait a day to receive my replacement, it was done within an hour! I would definitely recommend this iSmartDoctor to anyone in the area!

Review: We had a cell phone that suffered a cracked screen that was purely cosmetic damage as the phone was still fully operational. We took the phone to the vendor on 2/18 to have the screen replaced but when we picked the phone up later that evening the new screen was installed but unresponsive in some areas. The vendor stated some updates needed to finalize and we should take it home to see if it improves.

The phone did not improve and the vendor asked that we bring it in a second time on 2/19 so that they could perform a factory reset which wiped all data. We were contacted that the phone was ready that day and we picked it up again but found the same issue was occurring.

We brought the phone back for a third time on 2/27 and the vendor stated they would open the device again to see what was going on. We were informed that the manufacturer used too much glue and some components may have been damaged by the initial repair. We called on 3/2 and were informed they were having a hard time finding the issue and were waiting for a new diagnostic machine to arrive so they could continue to troubleshoot stating it should be in by 3/4. We followed up on 3/4 and were told they found that a wrong part had been used and were waiting on delivery of a new part to fix the phone. They informed us the phone should be ready on 3/7 by 5PM. We contacted them at 5PM on 3/7 and informed us the part was on back order and would not be in until Tuesday 3/10.

The vendor did not reach out to us at anytime to inform us of delays. Each time we contacted them for a status we were told another issue had developed and additional time would be required.Desired Settlement: We have lost confidence in the vendor to repair the device and feel they have caused additional damage that we must take to another provider now to repair. We have requested they reassmeble the phone and return it to us so that we can take it to another repair facility. They have informed us the device will be ready on 3/8 and we plan to pick it up at that time. We are requesting a refund as we feel the original repair was done incorrectly and the vendor has been stumbling trying to find out why the phone is not functioning properly. They have had three attempts to repair the device and after having the device in their possession for the last 8 days have not been able to remedy a repair.

We rely on cell devices for daily communication and find it highly unacceptable that a repair take this long and the vendor not even reach out to us to provide an update. Each time we contacted them for a status a new issue had developed requiring additional repair time.
