Review: I have a signed snow removal contract for the 2014-2015 year with [redacted] and Z's. Every time that it snows I get an email stating that they will be out of town in [redacted] with a sick child. [redacted] showed up at my house on 11/26 saying he was on his way back to [redacted] to be with the sick child and he would get in touch with someone to clear my driveway. No one showed but it had all melted by the next morning. This past week we had the snow storm and I received an email stating that they may be slow with the snow removal. I texted, emailed, and called all day long on Wednesday, December 10th. First he responded that someone cleared my driveway in the morning. No one had been at my house all day to clear the driveway. When someone did show up ay 8pm that night they did a swipe down my driveway clearing less than 1/3 of it. Hit the vent pipe in the yard, tore up the grass and buried my sidewalk. I texted and called [redacted] to have them come and do the job correctly no answer or response. The contract stated that they would be there prior to 6am when there was snow. On Thursday. the 11th I again called, texted, and emailed [redacted]. No response and again my driveway was not cleared. In any correspondence that [redacted] had previously sent he stated that if I wanted a refund I could get it since they were out of town so much with a sick child. When [redacted] send the email on 12/10 saying that may be running behind he stated that the child had passed away during surgery that past weekend. When my driveway was not cleared 2 days in a row I left several messages stating that I want my money back. I am still not getting a response from him. I put an ad on [redacted] asking if anyone else was scammed by this individual and I have gotten several responses from [redacted], [redacted], & [redacted]. I have also contacted the [redacted] County Sheriffs office. I have spoken with his father (whom the contract says is deceased) and he stated that [redacted] does not have a plow truck let alone even know how to plow.Desired Settlement: I would like my $200 back that I gave as per the snow removal contract.
