Isram Wholesale Tours and Travel, Ltd. Reviews (24)

Good Afternoon,After careful review, it was found that Ms. [redacted]' had been overcharged during her enrollment at Sullivan University.  According to our findings, her instructor had dropped her from classes during week 4 of the quarter resulting in the original amount in her complaint.  After investigating it was found that she actually attended through week 2, and should have had a 20% obligation instead of the 40% that she was charged.  A reduction was done resulting in a balance owed in the amount of $1082.00.  Because of our error in reporting Ms. [redacted]'s attendance, it is the decision of the University to award her will a Sullivan Institutional Grant in the amount of $1082, which clears her tuition balance is full.We do apologize for our error and are glad we were able to resolve this issue.  We will be sending Ms. [redacted] a copy of her student ledger so she may have for her records validating her tuition account balance with Sullivan University has been fully satisfied.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.Sincerely, [redacted]Director of Account ResolutionsSullivan University System

Our 2nd response was sent by [redacted] on August 22, 2017.  You should be receiving it very soon.

SEE ATTACHMENT FOR FULL COMPANY RESPONSE.To Whom It May Concern:Please find this as a response to complaint #10833120 filed by [redacted] concerning her outstanding tuition account balance of $2650.58 owed to Sullivan University. Ms. [redacted] originally filed a letter of dispute with...

the University after receiving a letter from us requesting payment of her account. In this letter, she indicated that she did not owe this for two reasons. (1) She was not a high school Graduate and (2) Sullivan University falsely secured loans on her behalf. An audit was done on her account and it was found the balance on her account was correct based on the terms of the agreements she signed. You will find enclosed, copies of her dispute along with our response. You will also find copies of her Application for Admission, Student Financial Data Form, Estimated Expense report showing what financial aid she applied for and a copy of her official withdrawal. You will also find a copy of her high school diploma and transcript we received from [redacted] High School. The Application for Admission indicates that she said she was a graduate. The diploma shows this as well, The Student Financial Data form and Estimated Expense report shows that she applied for financial aid to help cover her balance. She was aware she would be getting student loans. The Application for Admission and Student Financial Data Form outline her contractual obligation for any balance not covered by outside sources. In other words, she promised to pay any amount due to the University that was not covered by financial aid. Ms. [redacted] was asked to contact my office no later than August 21* to discuss a suitable payment arrangement if she could not pay the balance in full. We did not hear from her before our deadline. Her account is in the process of being sent to [redacted] Acceptance for collection. Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.Sincerely,[redacted]Director of Corporate Collections Sullivan University System

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The email I received from the finance department dated 02/18/** says that accounting did the work up of my account and the balance is zero.  On 2/18/** I filed my complaint with the Revdex.com and then on 02/26/** I get a balance of $2707 put on my account and am told that accounting made an "error".  A hold was also put on my account at the same time so that I'm unable to access.  This is not acceptable and the timing of this "error" is very shady at best.  It makes no sense that anyone would ever agree to something like this. Sullivan University is charging me for being enrolled (but not fully attending) $2707 for 3 weeks of class? The entire almost $5000 financial aid was taken until I complained to the Revdex.com and then it was suddenly returned and a balance of $2707 thrown on me.  I asked for a detailed accounting in my last response of where these charges are coming from but didn't receive it.  My account should have a zero balance as I was told it did on 02/18/**.  Apparently financial also made a mistake and so did the person from registration who guided me in what to do in the first place.
Regards,
