Review: We hired Issa Michel Photography to be our photographer for our October 2012 wedding. Our contract stated that we would receive one 15” x 11.5” deluxe hard back photo book published with 150 of our favorite selected wedding day photographs, plus 2 identical parent’s albums. We received a flash drive with our wedding photos in December 2012 with a letter stating that we should select our favorite 150 wedding photos and send them to him on a CD so he could create the photo albums. We sent the CD to Issa Michel in February 2013. Since we sent Issa Michel the CD with our selected photos we have not been able to get in contact with him. My husband and I have called, emailed, and texted Issa Michel with no results. We have not heard from Issa Michel since December 2012. It has been over a year since our wedding and we still have not received the three albums.Desired Settlement: I would like delivery of the 15” x 11.5” deluxe hard back photo book and 2 identical parent’s albums as soon as possible. If he is unable to complete the photo albums as contracted, we should be refunded for these albums.

Review: Issa Michel [redacted] (Issa Michel Photography) was our wedding photographer for our wedding day, October 14, 2012. Our contract was for a package ($2,167.45 which we paid in full on 10/14/12) which included the wedding day photography as well as a photo book with 100 photographs of our choosing. We have contacted him via email (12/24/12; 1/3/13; 1/7/13; 2/9/13; 3/17/13), phone (1/13/13; 2/9/13) and mail (1/18/13; 2/19/13) since December 24, 2012 to discuss the photo book, and we have yet to receive the photo book from Issa or any kind of indication as to when it might be completed. He did send us a brief email on 2/11/13 as a response to our 2/9/13 email indicating he had been having email issues for the past three months (which doesn’t explain him not responding to our phone calls) and gave us his new mailing address. He offered us a complimentary 16” x 20” gallery wrapped canvas as well as a peace offering for the lapse in communication. We have submitted specific questions which are detailed in all of the written correspondence (that would take him just a minute or two to answer) about the photo book options (e.g. cover types, page options, black/white photographs, retouching, etc.) and have been waiting patiently for Issa to respond to our questions, but he never did, so we went ahead and sent him a disk with our 100 selected photos on 2/19/13 to try to help accelerate the process. He has shown no indications that he plans to provide us with our photo book options or is working on or plans to complete the photo book as far as we know.Desired Settlement: We’d like Issa to get in touch with us as soon as possible, provide us with our photo book options, send us the 16”x20” print, create our wedding photo book while informing us about the reasonable timeframe in which it will be completed, to fulfill his contractual obligation. It is approaching six months since our wedding and we feel that this is more than enough time to put our photo book together.

Review: Issa had a contract with us to photograph our wedding. We spent alot to have 2 photographers there, and all paid before wedding started. Our wedding was sept 3rd, 2011. We were supposed to get 3 albums with 50 extra pictures in them (which we paid extra for) and 4 enlarged pictures in frames. Nearly two years later and nothing. He promised on several occasions to give him more time. Now I can't get a response back. Facebook messages, texts, phone calls, emails... nothing back. What do we do at this point, hire a lawyer?

Review: Issa Michel Photography was hired to do my wedding photos. The package I purchased and paid for already in full included engagement photos, wedding photos, and a wedding photobook with 100 of my favorite pictures. Our wedding was in October 2012. It took longer than I expected to get our pictures and it all of a sudden became difficult to contact Issa, but that was okay as I got my pictures. I selected my 100 favorite pictures for the photobook that was a part of the package and included in the contract and sent them to him in March. I followed up asking if he received them an in April since I hadn't heard anything and he replied that he had. I followed up again asking when I could expect to receive them...and I never heard back. I have reached out through email trying to get an answer and find out why I haven't gotten my book and when it will be coming over a dozen times since them. I have also called him multiple times and left voice mail message and have texted him, and even Facebook messaged him, and I have heard NOTHING back since he answered (in early May) my email from April. In a more recent email in early July, I gave him notice that if I didn't hear back from him by August to at least let me know what is going on, that I will file a complaint. Up until that point, I had been very friendly, as all I want is my photobook, not to cause trouble. Anyways, at this point I am assuming that he plans on not delivering the photobook that was paid for in the contract. I would rather have the product than my money back. Hopefully if he receives this complaint, he will take things seriously and contact me and send me my product. The photobook was the main reason I hired Issa as my photographer- because the examples he showed me of prior work were so lovely. It is heartbreaking that he is failing to deliver or even getting in contact with me to explain and apologize and provide a date when I will get my book.Desired Settlement: I would like my photobook delivered, an explanation on what is taking so long and why he has ignored my every attempt to contact him. Frankly, an upgrade on the package would be completely appropriate at this point in the game. Ignoring a customer who has already paid and failing to deliver a major component of the contract is not acceptable. As I said, the photobook was the main reason I picked Issa to take my wedding photos, because the photobooks he showed me of his prior work were so nice. I sent him which photos I wanted in March. It is now August. That is ridiculous.

Review: Issa Michel was hired as a photographer for our wedding in March 2012. Payment was made in full the day of our wedding as promised in our contract. I was suppose to receive the following (as stated in our contract):

(2) 150 pictures Photobooks . (15”x11.5” Deluxe Hard Back Photo Book, Published With 100** Of Your Favorite Selected Wedding Day Photographs. **Bridal Show Booking Incentives: $100 off package price, 50 free photos in (duplicate) published identical books, PLUS 1 (one duplicate) free Identical Parent’s Album. ) NOT RECEIVED

(2) Personal Copies Of All Pictures Taken, Published On DVD(s), In Hi-Resolution, Ultra Fine JPEG Format (most suitable for sharing and printing enlargements) WE RECEIVED ONLY 1 .

I was also promised an upgrade to my photobooks in response to our feedback of his services in [redacted] (upgrade = pages lay flat instead of curve in the center of photobooks for a value of $190)

It has been 1 year and 5 months and Issa Michel has not completed his services as stated in my contract. I patiently waited and waited but it seems that vendor is not planning to fulfill what he promised in a contract that he signed . I have tried to contact Issa Michel several times over the past months. He is unresponsive to phone calls, voicemails, emails and text messages. Last email received from vendor was sent on 11/29/12 stating that he had problems with his email server and acknowledging that a CD with my selected 150 pictures were received. I did not hear anything from Issa Michel since that day.Desired Settlement: I would like delivery of 2 photobooks with 150 pictures (including upgrade) and a second DVD copy of all of my wedding pictures as soon as possible. I believe that I provided considerable time to Issa Michel to complete my order.

Review: Products are well past the due time of our agreement made. Business does not answer any of our communications after November 8, 2012. No status update what so ever. No attempt made by the business to contact us.Desired Settlement: My wife and I desire our agreed products to be fully completed as stated in the contract, or a full refund of our money.

Review: [redacted] Photography is using a false address on it's advertising. It list the address for [redacted] Country Club's location in [redacted] as its place of business ([redacted] VA [redacted]). One his unhappy customer has visited the Country Club several times demanding to speak to [redacted] and is under the false impression that [redacted] works for the Country Club, and that the Club is responsible for his actions/services.

The Director of Clubhouse Operations for the Club's [redacted] location has left several voice mails with [redacted] asking him to stop using the Club's address as his own. [redacted] has not returned any of the phone calls and has not corrected his false advertising online.Desired Settlement: Please have [redacted] correct his false advertising by removing the address he is using in his advertisements immediately. It is deceiving the general public by creating an professional association between his business and [redacted] Country Club.

Review: Paid in full for wedding photography including all day photography coverage, engagement shoot with framed photos, CDs of engagement shoot and wedding photos, and three photo books with 175 photos in each book. All photos were to be edited by Issa. Did not receive any photo books, despite paying extra for the third book, and no photos were edited. Have tried to contact Issa and he stopped returning our calls, emails, and text messages requesting the photo books or a refund. Would like a refund at this point as we have purchased the photo books elsewhere. Total is $650 which he was paid for the three books and has since kept.Desired Settlement: Would like the $650 in cash as he has stated he has already spent the money.

Review: My husband and I contracted with Issa Michel Photography LLC in September 2011. I am filing this complaint due to Issa Michel's failure to provide services and producted stated in the signed contract.

Three of the documented services and products have yet to be fulfilled:

(1.) Two 15" x 11.5" Deluxe Hard Back Wedding Albums including 150 selected photos.

(2.) Second copy of all wedding pictures on DVD / flash drive.

(3.) Secure wedding website gallery.

Total payment for services was paid in full as of August 11, 2012. Date of wedding was August 25, 2012. Communication with Issa Michel has been attempted more than 30 times via email. phone and Facebook with only approximately 5 response, still without fulfilling contractual obligations.Desired Settlement: At this point, almost 16 months after our wedding date, I would like a partial refund of $800 or another agreeable amount to reimburse the lack of services rendered and to cover the cost of creating and publishing my own wedding albums which I have estimated via shutterfly to cost approximately $195 per book. I no longer wish to deal with Issa Michel and do NOT want photo albums from him as a reminder of this terribly frustrating experience connected with my wedding.

Review: Vendor was hired as a photographer for my wedding in May 2012. Per my contract with him, I was suppose to receive 3 wedding albums and a second copy of all of my wedding pictures. It has been almost a year since my wedding and vendor has not completed his services per my contract with him. I was also suppose to receive complimentary two 16x20 gallery wrapped canvas prints. These also have not been delivered.

I have reached out to the vendor many times over the past several months. The vendor is unresponsive to phone calls, voicemails, emails and text messages. The rare times I am able to get a hold of the vendor, he makes promises that he has not kept.Desired Settlement: I would like delivery of the 3 wedding albums, second copy of all of my wedding pictures, and two 16x20 gallery wrapped canvas prints within a week of this complaint.

Review: This photographer has not been responsive to our calls, emails, texts for the past 8 months.

He still owes us our 3 photo albums that we paid for. (He told us it would take 3 months to complete

We are extremely disappointed with his service. We just want our photo albums.Desired Settlement: All we want is our 3 photo books that we paid for. That is it.

Review: The photographer agreed to provide a wedding album including 170 photos. It's been over a year since our wedding and he has not provided the wedding album. I've tried to contact him via his cell phone and [redacted] messages. He does not return my phone calls, text messages or [redacted] messages.Desired Settlement: To complete the wedding album and mail it to me. If he is unable to provide the wedding album, then he needs to provide a refund or pay for someone else to provide the album.
