Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/06/08) */ Mr [redacted] has been a tenant with istorage since 11/29/when he moved in it shows that he was given a first time renters special of buy months get months freeit was explained to the customer that the special is for first time renters only whish Mr [redacted] displayed complete understanding ofafter his first time renters special was over Mr [redacted] decided he wanted that special to be on going which we explained to him was only for first time renters and could not be extended or applied to people who were current tenantsMr [redacted] decided that he felt his discount should be extended through out his rental periodmyself and also a few customer reps in our call center explained to mr [redacted] that the discount was for first time renters onlyevery account that we create is always noted everytime we are in contact with a customerupon Mr [redacted] coming into the office and inquiring about receiving another discount I looked at the notes on his account and it showed that this issue had been explained to Mr [redacted] numerous times before and this was information that wasn't new to Mr [redacted] Mr [redacted] did come into the office with a piece of paper explaining that the previous manager had said he would grant the special to Mr [redacted] but I did explain to Mr [redacted] that if anything would be granted it would have to be noted in his accountI also explained to Mr [redacted] that every customer has an account and a section of the account is set up to leave notes to inform anyone who may pull the account up of credits, discounts and other things of that sortthe only notes in Mr [redacted] account were of those stating that Mr [redacted] inquired about istorage granting him another buy get discount and our team informing numerous times that we do not extent that special to current renters but only to first time rentersno where in his account notes does it state that he would be granted another buy get two discounthere at istorage we do uphold our policies and we take great pride in providing outstanding customer serviceone reason why this location is at 97% occupancywe never implied that Mr [redacted] was lying about anythingwe simply stated that we can not honor anything besides what has been written in the notes of his accountwe do appreciate each and every one of our customers and we show that by maintaining a clean lot a safe place to store your belongings and great customer servicewe do appreciate Mr [redacted] as a customer and we have done everything to give him understanding of our policies and services
