This restaurant has a very rude, offensive owner We went to this restaurant on Easter, March 27, We stood outside for a couple minutes looking at the outdoor seating There was a table empty so we went inside to see about the possibility of sitting outsideMy wife asked one person inside where to checkin for a table The person responded by not saying anything but looking annoyed and pointing to the person We then started to talk with the person (turns out he is the owner) about the possibility of getting a table outside He immediately started saying that he saw us eying the empty table outside He then started ranting about how there were other people (maybe five others) who were waiting to seating outsideThe attitude he had was one that I told my wife that we would just leave and go someplace else He then said "go ahead, go someplace else"My wife told him that that was not a good way to run a business He then said that she shouldn't try to tell him how to run his business So we started to walk away and he kept talking down to us, and ultimately told us to go "F* yourselves"He was outside his restaurant and yelled this at us on the sidewalk as we were walking away What kind of Restaurant owner treats potential customers like that? My wife and I could not believe what he said We finally found someplace else to eat and I began looking at reviews about this restaurant (The Italian Grotto) Unbelievably, we found out that many other people have had the same type of complaints about the owner most particularly How can a business continue to operate when they have an owner who doesn't care about his patrons? This business needs some good, close monitoring and consideration for being fined at a minimum!

This restaurant has a very rude, offensive owner. We went to this restaurant on Easter, March 27, 2016. We stood outside for a couple minutes looking at the outdoor seating. There was a table empty so we went inside to see about the possibility of sitting outside. My wife asked one person inside where to checkin for a table. The person responded by not saying anything but looking annoyed and pointing to the person. We then started to talk with the person (turns out he is the owner) about the possibility of getting a table outside. He immediately started saying that he saw us eying the empty table outside. He then started ranting about how there were other people (maybe five others) who were waiting to seating outside. The attitude he had was one that I told my wife that we would just leave and go someplace else. He then said "go ahead, go someplace else". My wife told him that that was not a good way to run a business. He then said that she shouldn't try to tell him how to run his business. So we started to walk away and he kept talking down to us, and ultimately told us to go "F[redacted] yourselves". He was outside his restaurant and yelled this at us on the sidewalk as we were walking away. What kind of Restaurant owner treats potential customers like that? My wife and I could not believe what he said. We finally found someplace else to eat and I began looking at reviews about this restaurant (The Italian Grotto). Unbelievably, we found out that many other people have had the same type of complaints about the owner most particularly. How can a business continue to operate when they have an owner who doesn't care about his patrons? This business needs some good, close monitoring and consideration for being fined at a minimum!
