Made a purchase on 2/29/2020 while on vacation in Sarasota Florida. Upon returning home, decided to return the item. Checked their website and it stated that I had 15 days for a full refund from date of purchase. (https://italianidea.us/refund-policy/).
I packed the item and prepared for shipment. The item shipped on 3/3/2020. The business responded to my refund request 3/6/2020 which is six days after the date of purchase and denied it.
They claimed that their location does not follow their parent/website guidelines.
So, I looked at their website, found something comparable in price range and requested an exchange.
She stated that price on their website is incorrect but she has a much more expensive item and that I would need to authorize an additional $114.88 to make the exchange.
I requested if she could provide me with HER website so I can find something comparable in price to which it was not provided. Business owner still has my original purchase.
I have written documentation on all claims above.
Would simply like them to follow their return and refund policy as stated on their website.

The customer, after buying the product, left satisfied. After a few days I receive, by mail, a box with the product inside. As a company policy we do not refound, but we replace the product with another one inside the shop. There is a clearly visible sign inside our stores that specifies our return policy. This has nothing to do with that on our website. I am attaching a copy of our return policy.

No. I am not satisfied and still requesting a refund. After the purchase, went back home out of state, decided I didn't care for them as much and wanted to return them. Checked the receipt and it had a website address on THE RECEIPT. Checked the website address for their refund policy. The website said within 14 days of purchase. I quickly packaged the sunglasses up and returned them within their written refund policy. She received the sunglasses and proceeded to text me that she has a 'no refund policy' which is in DIRECT conflict with the written website. I tried to be gracious and do an exchange but when I asked for a specific item, "oh, we don't have that but we have the larger one and for more money". Plus, she said, "there will be a $25 postal fee for any future purchase". So, after that, I was done and felt this was an unscrupulous establishment. She STILL has the sunglasses and MY MONEY. Just issue a refund based off your written policy and be done with this because now it is a matter of principle. Thank you.
Rules are rules. You cannot interpret them to your liking. The rules on the website follow internet purchases, the rules of the physical store are to be respected with purchases made in person. I don't understand why, you buy a pair of glasses, I like them a lot, I use them on vacation, I go home out of state and I don't like them anymore ....
This becomes a matter of principle, and my answer is that I am available to ship her glasses back at my expense. If you want to change the product I am available to send photos of available glasses and at the same price. If you wish, I am available to send photos of bags and accessories for the same price. I await an answer and greetings.

For your information, the glasses were not used while on vacation. We have many photographs and you'll not see them in any of them; not one. They were in their original packaging until I returned home. The lighting in the store did not indicate that they were BLUE which I am not fond of. You mean to tell me, you have never in your life made a purchase only to get home and realize it wasn't a good fit? Then check the return policy and go from there? Right......
I have screen shots of the return policy. A suggestion would be to put the return policy on your receipt and update the website with proper spelling instead of an obscure small sign that is not brought to customer's attention.

I'd like to finish this comedy.
Rules are rules. The sign inside my stores is very visible.
My options remain the same:
1 send back the glasses at my expense
2 replace the glasses with others at the same price
3 replace the glasses, with about 1200 items in my shop, of your choice.
