Dear Revdex.com,I received a letter about a complaint and here is my response; We received a phone call on Sunday from the customer complaining that the delivery driver was lateWe apologized and he told us that he wanted to cancel the order because he thought that the pizza was cold so we asked him to check if the pizza was cold or notWhen the delivery driver got to his house, he immediately sent her back to the restaurant without even checking if the pizza was really cold or notWhen the delivery driver got back, we checked the pizza and we noticed that the pizza was still warm so we told him that there was no problem with the pizza and that it was still warmHe then started saying that he wanted a refund on the credit cardWe explained to him that we did not know how to make a refund on a credit card and that we were willing to send the deliver driver to his house with the money in cash, but instead of listening to what we were saying he started mocking us and insulting us, telling us that Italian people are stupid and that we don't understand anythingWe remained calm and kept telling him that we could not make a refund on his credit card simply because we did not know how to and that we wanted to give his money back in cash and also give him a credit therefore he would have gotten his money back plus free foodAt that point he just kept ignoring everything we were sayingOne of the employees (who is American) tried to talk to him explaining everything again and she was very calm and kept apologizing and no matter how much he was insulting us and threatening us, we were still very polite and we were still willing to talk peacefully with himHe refused to listen to us and he kept thinking that we did not want to give him a refund but that was not the case at allWe were absolutely honest with him and we really did not know how to refund his money on his credit card and since he did not want money in cash and he did not want a credit either, we decided to call a friend who also owns a restaurant and we asked him if he knew how to refund money on a credit card but he didn't know how to either so the only thing we were able to do was giving the customer his money back in cashHe then told us that he called the bank and that the bank was able to refund the money on his credit cardWe apologized again but he ended up threating us more, telling us that we were going to pay for it and then decided to hang up on usIn the end, he got his money back on his credit card from the bank and refused to accept the money in cash from us and also refused to get a creditWe are sorry that we do not know how to refund money on a credit card and we will do anything to solve this problem peacefully and we are also trying to learn how to refund money on credit cards so that this problem will not happen ever again.Thank you for giving us the chance to explain what happened, we really appreciate it and we will do anything to solve this problem.Sincerely, Tony's Hanover House of Pizza
