Grazie ITAMCAP
In January of 2022 I learned of the Italian law regarding Jure Sanguinis. As soon as I heard about this law, I knew I simply must become Italian. You know, not just Italian-American, but actually Italian, and recognized as such. I explored the many options for consultants to conduct the genealogy and gather the required documents. My first interactions with ITAMCAP were with Giorgio Nusiner, the founder of the organization. After contracting with ITAMCAP, I emailed with Veronica and Sara, and later worked directly with Mattia Ciampichetti. The process of Jure Sanguinis is intense. You will see documents that report on the lives of people about whom you have heard and perhaps never met. You will learn that details you relied upon from siblings, parents, and aunties are not quite accurate. These people come to life in ways you never imagined. Your ancestors will become real for you, and the many small details of your heritage will come into focus. Veronica performed the document search for me in only four short months. I was so happy! As I began the wait for an appointment at the Italian Embassy in Miami, my documents were translated and certified very quickly. But, when everything was ready to go, the wait for an appointment had grown from eighteen months to four years. Everyone wants to be Italian! And so, with the assurance from Veronica and Sara that I would have their support, I decided to come to Italy earlier than planned and make my application here. This is when Mattia got involved. Mattia attended my application meeting at the comune with me, and walked me through the process of the necessary step of gaining residency. Mattia is simply amazing! His English is perfect. His understanding of Jure Sanguinis is thorough, and he has a unique empathy for what the applicant is experiencing and how to make the process as easy on them as possible. Mattia’s help has been invaluable! I highly recommend ITAMCAP for your Jure Sanguinis application. The team is hardworking and capable, and in the end, you will be Italian!

Giorgio did not fulfill the service that he was hired to do. Informed us of changes to citizenship requirements 3 months late.
We hired ITAMCAP (Giorgio) to help in obtaining italian citizenship through marriage. We hired them at the end of November to begin the process. Payment began to be sent to him (total $1,750). Unbeknownst to us, on December 4, 2018 there was a new requirement for the Italian citizenship of having to learn the language. He DID NOT INFORM us until March 2019, after our final payment had been sent to him and time had been spent running around getting documents (many of which we thought he would get for us). By the time he told us about the new requirement (learning Italian language), most of the documents were going to expire and my wife just did not have time to learn the language since she is now working full time. After much back and forth, we were forced to accept only a 50% refund. However, it has now been almost 2 months with Giorgio not responding to our calls or e-mails. We now demand a full refund since we feel that we were scammed by this company. Beware any who decide to request their services. I am sure he will reply to this complaint, and nothing will come of it, but that is what he does... just replies, talks, and then does nothing.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a FULL refund now since he has stopped any communication with us.

We really don't understand this claim. We have been hired to obtain documents, apostilles and translations as per the attached consulting agreement, which we did and mailed to the customer (evidence is the attached UPS label), as well to assist the client to upload all documents when ready. We could not perform this final phase, because the customer, as per its own declaration, decided not to obtain the required Italian language certification because was too busy to study. In addition customer already made a claim to the credit card company to have 2 payments returned, which we will now fight, since our services have been completed. We did fulfill the services we were hired to, as we always do. We did inform the customer of any changes AHEAD of time, as we always do. We DO NOT MAKE THE LAWS, the extension of our services is CLEARLY outlined in the Consulting Agreement which the customer signed. We always try to accommodate our customers' needs and requirements, but it seems to us this claim is absolutely unfair. We deal with thousands of happy customers, and if there is something we can do to improve their experience with us, we'll certainly pursue it.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We came to an agreement IN WRITING that half of the fees would be refunded to us due to the THREE MONTH delay it took them to inform us of the changes in the law. It has been almost two months and no refund has been given as promised. That is why we are pursuing this with our credit card company and with Revdex.com. This is to warn others who hire them that they are not on top of the current laws and they expect you to research how to obtain documents and what the current laws are. This defeats the purpose of hiring them for this service.

I have attached a copy of their message confirming the 50% refund which we agreed to. As you can see, their letter again denies that they did anything wrong, and yet they offer a 50% refund, thus professing some degree of culpability.

As can be seen from other Revdex.com complaints, they are good talkers, but not good lawyers.

Again: Our work-scope is CLEARLY outlined in the Consulting Agreement that the customer signed. He decided to stop the process because had no time to study Italian. NOT OUR FAULT. He consider the requirements from the Italian Ministry of Interior "crazy and unreasonable". NOT OUR FAULT. He blames us not to inform on the change of the requirements. WE DO NOT MAKE THE LAWS, WE JUST INFORM OUR CUSTOMERS, and we did AS SOON AS IT WAS CLEAR HOW THE LAW WAS GOING TO BE ENFORCED.
We offered to reimburse 50% of the fees paid, even if it was not our fault, exactly in order to try to understand the customer (even if it was not understandable) and to keep the relation amicably. It look to us there is nothing amicably in the customer attitude. As mentioned he already made a claim to the credit card for 2 payments, and already had the money returned ($650). In order to settle this dispute we confirm our availability to reimburse the balance up to 50% of the fees paid ($875), confirming as well that we DENY ANY RESPONSIBILITY and we are accepting this to keep all our customers satisfied. The customer must however accept to close the claim with Revdex.com, make no further claims to any credit card, as well as to evaluate Itamcap and their directors as POSITIVE on any website / social platform.

Asked to provide driver's license and passport. Haven't heard back since. Now I am scared.
I feel that I am being scammed and that I have made a dumb decision to give this company an image of my driver's license and passport. After paying one installment of what I owed this company, I was asked to provide a photo of my driver's license and passport, which I did. I have not heard back from this company since. They used to be "on it" all the time with their communication, now they are MIA. Just yesterday, my credit card was compromised and I had to close it down. I have a feeling something bad is happening and I do not know what to do.

Desired Outcome

I have not heard back from this company. I don't even care about getting my money back at this point, I just want to make sure that my identity has not been stolen.

We really don't understand the claim.
Customer signed a consulting agreement (attached); DID NOT provide a credit card number; made the first scheduled payment on line, using the invoice2go service, then did not make any other payment. (DID NOT PROVIDE TO US ANY CREDIT CARD NUMBER)
Yes, we did request her Driver's License and Passport, because we have been hired to obtain her and her family vital records for her Dual Italian Citizenship application, and those IDs are required by the issuing State agencies, and she did send it on 2/25 by email.
Customer is in default for payments.
We tried to contact her either leaving a voice message and by email. No reply.
We ordered documents that as per State agencies policies, she will receive directly at the address on her Driver's License.
We worked MUCH MORE of what we have been paid so far.

I am upset and feel like this man Giorgio Nusiner stole me $299 that I paid him for his services. This man was supposed to help me get documents ready to show to the Italian Consulate here in San Francisco. He promised that he would get me an appointment ASAP rather than having to wait the two year period. Now he is asking that I pay an additional 300 for documents that I requested after he told me that those documents were included in the 299 I payed the first time. He keeps asking for money and literally has done nothing for me. I would like me money back. My friend Nicolas Saroni recommended him and has also stopped using him for he believes this man is a scam. Then because I didn't understand why he was asking me for more money Giorgio sent me threatening messages saying that I needed to pay more attention and that he was going to quit his services because I was asking him stupid questions. I want my money back and am very upset with his poor ***.
Product_Or_Service: Assessment fee
Order_Number: XXXX-XXX

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like a refund of the $299 dollars that I had to pay him first off.

Early July we have been contacted by A. *** requesting assistance for his Italian Dual Citizenship process.
We performed a FREE OF CHARGE evaluation of his and his family case, and on July 4th we sent the attached email with our preliminary offer of services, in which we clearly state, as we always do, what would be included in the initial payment of $ 299, what is not, and what would be an estimate to complete the dual citizenship process.
We always try to be extremely transparent and we definitely always act in good faith.
As a matter of fact, on July 5th he sent us a text message (attached) asking what would be covered by the $299 initial payment, to which we responded (also attached) very clearly.
After his payment of $ 299 we started to work on his case and we spent many hours (logged and recorded in our system) to review and study his documents, as well as answer his many phone calls and messages.
We also offered our services to obtain certificates from Italy, and on July 7th, Mr. DiModica asked if there was an additional cost for such service, to which we responded that each certificate would cost an additional $100 (attached) including the UPS cost from Italy, and he agreed and ordered us to obtain such certificates (attached).
While waiting for the certificates from Italy, we assisted the client informing how to get the missing documents for his case, and answering his many questions (attached).
After the certificates from Italy arrived, we sent a copy to the client and invoiced him, as agreed, for $ 200 ($100 for each certificate)., to which he seemed at first surprised, but agreed when we reminded him of the conversation and the agreement.
We also reminded that to complete the citizenship process, he still had to cover many additional expenses, as per our original proposal, and in order to ease his financial burden, we offered to put him on a NO INTERESTS payment plan. (attached).
So in the end, we really tried hard to do everything we reasonably and responsibly could to help this client.
We tried to explain him MANY times all the process, and we went FAR BEYOND what was expected from our company to do.
The client decided not to continue the process.
We wish him good luck.
