the complaint I have is the tires they represent the [redacted] which was put on my trailer in 2010. the problem is the [redacted] tires that were put on my trailer I purchase in 2010. I have less than 1000 miles on the tires and last weekend I blew two tires on a weekend trip. I now have the tires replaced, but the remaining tires that were taken off of the RV have wires sticking out of the thread and the upper side wall, when I called and talked to VOMA I was basecailly told there is a one year warranty on the tires they were not concerned about the problem, just that they were out of warranty. I can't believe that the US Goverment would allow that kind of tire to be on our roadways here in the US. Desired SettlementI don't expect any settlement at all, basically I was trying to inform VOMA of there problem, but they do not care about any of that just that you are out of WARRANTY.Business' Initial Response It is stated in our Warranty Policy that the tires are only covered for 12 months from date of purchase. As the customer states he purchased his trailer in 2010 so these tires are over 3 years old and since there is not an odometer on a travel trailer there is no exact way to measure the mileage of these tires. This is why we have to use the date of purchase. We are concerned with our product and do follow US Government guidelines for reporting warranty complaints. We apologize for the appearance of being matter of fact, but we have learned over the years if you request all of the investigative information required for a claim the customer normally becomes hostile when you inform them of the Warranty Policy coverage time period. So a procedural policy is to inform the customer from the beginning. I did explain the time frame and tell them I would take a look at the tires, but I would not be able to cover them due to the coverage time period.

Final Business Response I am confused is this the same complaint? I can't see a 3rd response from the consumer. I have requested the required documentation from the consumer two different times. I don't understand is the consumer asking us to just replace his tires without being able to inspect them or see them at all? We are asking to see the defective product and requesting information about the product and it appears the consumer isn't willing to provide anything information or the tire. We cannot make a determination as to the claim without the tire being made available. We will contact the consumer by phone today.
