On Friday I found a condo on [redacted] to rent for vacation in Panama City Beach, FL. when I clicked on the link "contact manager" I filled out the boxes including the days that I wanted to book, how many people & asked for a total price. I got a quick response via email with a statement of all charges. The price on the statement was higher than the website price. I responded to the email asking why the price was higher & got no response. So I called & got Whitney [redacted] voicemail. I booked the condo anyway because I was afraid that I wouldn't have a place to stay since my vacation is in a week. On Saturday I got a text from Amber that confirmed my booking. I called Amber & asked why the price is higher, Amber asked me to text her the pic that I took of my computer screen so she can talk to Whitney about it. Amber was able to talk to Whitney & they was willing to cancel my booking & refund my money. All I wanted was an explanation not a refund. I did agree to pay the higher price so I would have a place to stay. I texted Amber more questions & got no response. I called to get answers & got Whitney's voicemail again leaving another message. On Monday afternoon I called again for the third time leaving a third message for Whitney [redacted] to call me back. I emailed Whitney on Monday after my third attempt to call. Whitney finally called me I asked why can't my questions get answered? Why is there a lack of communication between the manager (Whitney), Amber & me the customer. Whitney apologized & said "I will refund your money, have a nice day" then she hung up on me before I was able to respond. I contacted itrip.net corporate office through their website. Todd [redacted] called me Tuesday. After I explained what happened Todd offered no explanation due to conflicting stories between what Whitney said & what I said. Whitney made accusations about me that was untrue. Todd claimed Whitney has been a manager for 2 years with no complaints. Apparently [redacted] & itrip stands behind their employees & doesn't believe the customer. I did get my money back but it left me scrambling to find another place to stay. I would not recommend itrip or [redacted] It is sad when a company backs up an employee that is being rude & unprofessional & leaves the customer with no where to stay on vacation.
