I received Mr. [redacted]'s order for Provel Cheese on Oct. 14th. That's not to say he placed it on the 14th, just conveying that...

is the date I received it. The 14th of October was a Wednesday. Since Provel is a cheese product shipped in dry ice I only ship this item on Monday and Tuesday so as to ensure it doesn't get held up in a warehouse over a weekend. Therefore I would not have shipped it until the 19th-20th regardless.
I did prepare the label for shipping on October 19th fully intending to ship the next day, Tuesday the 20th. I then either pulled a back muscle or pinched a nerve in my lower back which rendered me barely able to walk much less do any work. I am a one man operation so this causes problems. I am not using this as an excuse however it is fact. I did not look at email for several days nor do any other work related activity nor any personal activity. It continues to flare up every few days. Since I was unable physically to ship on the 20th and do not ship Provel Wednesday-Sunday the order was held until the following week. I was feeling well enough by Wednesday the 28th and finally shipped Mr. [redacted] Provel. He received it on Friday the 30th.
My apologies to Mr. [redacted] for the lengthy delay and lack of communication. I have also refunded the full amount of his order as of today. I would have sooner but in the course of activity, trying desperately to catch up on shipping orders, driving for inventory restock, and every thing else for this business (I am again just one man) I was unaware of his request for a refund. I apologize for this also.
As for Mr. [redacted]'s claim the product he received was "NOT being as advertised on their website", I am VERY curious as to how he arrived at this conclusion? The product he was shipped and received was identical to the product image on my website.
As a "50 yr plus consumer of [redacted] pizzas he surely should be able to tell real Provel. Evidently he can't. I ship [redacted] Provel which is THE REAL and ONLY REAL Provel cheese. [redacted] a subsidiary of [redacted] is the only licensed manufacturer of Provel. Licensed by ** & [redacted] the founders and owner's of [redacted] I have known these two wonderful people since I was 4 years old.
I get my inventory DIRECTLY from [redacted] on the Hill, [redacted] which is the ONLY distributorship of real and authentic Provel cheese.
So if Mr. [redacted] can prove I shipped him some cheap imitation knock off bring it on! He has no leg to stand on since this is NOT the case! I fully take responsibility for my lack of communication and delay on shipping. I take full responsibility for not refunding his full purchase price until I read this filed complaint. But I, not for one second, will stand for being accused of some bait and switch scam!!!
Thank you for allowing me to respond.
