Garbage will be picked up today 7/26/ Salesman homeowner worked with no longer works with our company Homeowner was to contact *** *** *** (HVAC Contractor) to schedule a time to take care of chimney cap HVAC contractor was to bill IV Construction, Inc
directly Homeowner sent me a certified letter saying he wanted to be absolved of all contractual obligation to IV Construction, Inc so he can find a contractor he will work better with Sent him a letter, as he desired so he may proceed with another contractorHe then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com Itemized statement of work completed and amounts will be sent to insurance company, as homeowner has stated an inability to work with our company

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Since we begun this project, [redacted] has been critical of our craftsmanship and following around our crew nitpicking each and every detail of their work.  We have installed over 300 roofs this year and are very confident in our crew and the integrity of their work.  We have sent numerous...

people back to the job site numerous times to address [redacted] concerns. Each time she kicks them off the job site, so we are unable to complete any work.  I asked Mrs. [redacted] to contact another contractor to meet us there to act as a mediator.   I did receive a call from another roofer [redacted] called who said they weren't going there "because they didn't want to get involved with her".  As of today, 8/26/16, we are still waiting on a call from [redacted] indicating another contractor would be there to act as a mediator. The contract for this job is for $4,600 and we have received $2,300 of that thus far.   We are willing to go back with another contractor to do a walk around (at her expense) or we are willing to walk away from this job and forfeit the remaining $2,300.  We will not have the integrity of our work questioned without justification, nor will we continue to incur expenses scheduling and sending people to [redacted] house only to have them kicked off the job site.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and in response to the statements made by the company about my being critical and nitpicking, and "kicking" his employees off my property numerous times, these are all lies, [redacted] seems to be trying to undermine and slander my character, which I do not appreciate.   I do not feel installing roofs should come down to the quantity that can be installed in a season, but to the quality of the work. That quality was lacking on this job.  As to [redacted] suggestion to contact another contractor, and to which I contacted several, if [redacted] had returned any of my numerous calls, I would have informed him of the dates and times of scheduled meetings.  I would like to know the name of this other roofer who called [redacted]. Perhaps this person is playing both sides of the fence as I have paperwork where this first sentence reads, "This is to remove and replace the improperly installed roof from a previous contractor." Another contractor commented on the "sloppy job" that had been done.  As to the integrity of this company's work being questioned without justification, I have many pictures which will speak for themselves as to the the "integrity of work" done on this job.  Lastly, I can no longer trust this company to "make things right" as originally promised. The problems which have arisen due to this job and the damage which has been done to my home will far exceed $2300. I feel in addition to the forfeited $2300 which the company has agreed to, I should be refunded the original down payment of $2300 and receive an apology from said company. I also expect the workmanship and product warranties to withstand.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
