Ivy City Design Build

I hired Carter in June 2018 when I was opening my store to help with the restoration of doors and windows in my shop. These were old pieces that needed new glass put in and complete refurbishing. I purchased two door handles that I needed to be installed on the metal doors I have in my space in order for the doors to properly open and close. It has now been nearly 1.5 years, and the handles still have not been installed. I have called and texted Carter numerous times, and he continues to dodge my questions about when the job will be finished. I made the mistake of paying him in full, but the job remains incomplete. I'm extremely frustrated with his lack of communication, clear disregard for an incomplete job, and his continuing to make insincere promises about when this job will be completed. I went so far as to hire another person to install the handles, and when I asked carter for him to return them to me or provide an address where I could come pick them up, he went radio silent. Very unprofessional, and I would be wary of hiring him to complete a job in a timely or trustworthy manner.
