It has been approximately a week since I was made aware of this filing by this individual. And please understand that I am responding solely out of respect for the process I have been involved with and my concern that the wife of the individual who filed this complaint is served through a
delicate situation. I have little or no concern for the validity of this complaint, nor for what the Revdex.com wants to do with it. I am very good at what I do, and I have spent a great deal of time expressing my concerns on this case, to BOTH of the parties involved. The engagement that is underway with this individual is extremely confidential in nature. In fact, my ethical concerns for even responding to this complaint are great. And I will never do anything to knowingly or willingly breach my client's right to confidentiality. That goes for both Mr*** as well as Mrs***. That being said, I am going to simply point out the appropriate dates and the present status of the case. I will not entertain a discussion on this forum about the merits of what this individual is saying or the background that I am well aware of. Mr*** is not the only party to this transaction. He has a wife who also deserves to be heard. On November 18, 2015, I received the final payment on the retainer for the engagement in question (not August as alleged). Given that timing with holidays, etcand the vast amount of work needed (as well as the nature of the job at hand), it seems quite clear that this complaint lacks logic. Last week, while Mr*** was busy with this endeavor, I was busy making sure that his wife received an appropriate amount of time and expertise to make the difficult decisions she is presently faced with. In fact, unbeknownst to Mr*** I had a meeting scheduled with his wife for Friday of last weeka meeting in which I spent hours with his wife painstakingly working her through the agreement in question. The record shows that I had previously spent similar time with Mr*** reviewing the same agreement that he claims had never been delivered. Over the past week, I have satisfied myself that Mrs*** is now ready to go forward to finalize the matter. And we have finalized our work until such time as final reviews and edits are to be made. As such, my suggestion at this time is that Mr*** needs to make a decision here. He can continue to follow through on this complaint if he so chooses. If he does, my intention is to ask Mrs*** to draft an affidavit in which she can set the record straight, without me breaching my obligation of confidentiality. Having discussed all of this at length with her, as well as the dynamic of the underlying relationship which has given me my concerns, I am very comfortable leaving this at that. I will be preparing a final invoice for this couple in the coming days in accordance with the signed engagement letter I have on file. And I fully expect that invoice will be paid in full prior to my signing off on the case
