To whom it may concern, We (J/A Auto Sales) tried our best to resolve the issue with the steering. After so many attempts of ordering parts and changing them nothing had changed. We even sent the vehicle to the local Chevrolet dealership and they couldn't find any isssues causing the steering...

problem. We had informed the Chevrolet dealership of all the work we did to the vehicle yet nothing. At the end, we (J/A Auto Sales) agreed to give the owner the title. She didn't have to pay the remaining balance of $2,700.00.

Review: bought 98 chevy tahoe on Jan. 18, 2011 with the promise to fix the steering problem. Had part on order. Turned out they didn't know exactly what the problem was. After numerous attempts from their "mechanics" and several shops diagnostics the problem seemed to worsen. After 6 more straight weeks I located the tahoe at Wheeler Cadillac dealership. They had notified J & A a week before their diagnostic and noone had picked up the car.

[redacted] salesman with J & A gave permission to pick up. Couldn"t drive over 25mph. [redacted] said that they were done trying to fix it. I took it to [redacted] $500 later better but not great. Then [redacted]s $550 later better but the new tires started to wear and problem started to return. The tahoe is all over the road and unsafe to drive. I traded a 2003 mustand and paid $500 down and paid a payment of $320.00 . They had the vehicle Probably 3 months out of the first 4 months trying to fix the steering then said sorry they tried. I haven't been able to drive it since June. I have a non-op on it until I can resolve this. I went 6 weeks straight without a car. Missed works a couple of days because no car. Its been a year. I have no job, no safe car and am not paying them 2700.00.Desired Settlement: See Complaint Text

My Husband and I bought a 2004 Ford Explorer from J / A Auto sale on January 11th , 2013

My husband and I bought a 2004 Ford Explorer from J/A Auto Sales On 1624 North Beale Road. Marysville Ca XXXXX On January 11th XXXXX and we put down $ 1,600 at that time and we went back on February and put another $900. down so now we have a Total of $2,500 on this vehicle and the total price of this vehicle $7,724 Dollars. The first problem we had was the back wheel bearing was going out along with the brakes and we took the vehicle back to J / A auto and they did repair the back wheel bearing and the brakes are still the same and we ask j / a auto why the brakes are still the same and they said they fixed it and we told them they are still the same. we took the vehicle to them 2 or 3 times and come back the same. the vehicle does stop but the ABS light comes on and off and the brakes don't feel right when you stop the vehicle. Now the other problem we are having with the vehicle we took to have the oil and filter change and the gentleman said he can not change the oil because there was water mixed in the oil. so we took the vehicle back over to J / A auto sale and we told them what was going on and J / A auto sale ask why we took the vehicle to someone else for a oil change and we ask why not and they said never take it no other place but to them for repairs. at that point time we ask why not and there words was we know the vehicle and what repairs been done. at that time and place we ask if they where going repair the 2004 ford explorer and there words WAS NO and we can not help you. we left the auto place. since we have left we have called them many times and they do not answer there phone. We are NOT making no more payments and we are done with J / A Auto sale and we want a FULL REFUND OF OUR $2,500 DOWN PAYMENT AND THEY CAN HAVE THERE VEHICLE BACK. WE FEEL WE BEEN RIP OFF AND SOLD A LEMON. WE WILL NOT GIVE UP TILL WE GET OUR FULL REFUND OF $2,500 BACK.
