Consumer took her vehicle in for repair at essential auto. The consumer was advised the head gasket

needed to be replaced. Consumer paid $800 in advance for the parts. The consumer was given an

estimate of one week for repair, but the work took 3 weeks. The consumer paid an additional $900 when

the repairs were completed.

The engine light came back on a week after the repair. the supplier checked the vehicle out and advised

nothing was wrong. The supplier reset the engine light which came back on later. The vehicle has been

taken back to the supplier 5 times and the vehicle is acting the same as it was before the work was done.

The consumer is not aware that the supplier has made any additional repairs to the vehicle in the return


The consumer is also upset that the supplier scratched, chipped and dented her hood. The vehicle was

also returned with the interior very dirty and oil from parts that had been stored in the vehicle was in the

interior of the vehicle.

The consumer is now being advised a heater coil is required for the repair and suggested the consumer

get the work done elsewhere.

Consumer feels the supplier never properly addressed the issue.
