J & A Paint and Body

Review: I came into J & A paint and body to get a quote on 8/23/13. They told me that the damage to my car was minor and told me it would cost $180 to do the work. They also told me that they guarantee the work that they do and said I wold to have any problems with their work. They advised me that they get the exact paint measurements from the cars vin number so they color would match exactly. I dropped my car off for repairs on Tuesday 8/27/13 around 9:30am. I was called on Thursday 8/29/13 and was told that my car was ready for pickup. I showed up at J & A paint and body around 4:30pm. The car was no where ready to be picked up. I noticed small little bubble size indents on the right rear quarter panel and on the rear bumper and pointed these out. I began to walk around the car noticing white cloudy patches and was telling "[redacted]" (the owner) and he grabbed a bucket with sand paper and started wet sanding my car. The passenger side rear panel and bumper does not match the rest of the car in color. It looks green in the light. On the passenger rear quarter panel where they started painting it, it is clear that they tried to touch up their mistakes because paint is now missing. I continued to walk around the car and started noticing marks on the driver side rear panel (which was not suppose to be worked on because their was no damage on that side) also there was this white stuff all over my car, which I was told was compound. It was even on my hood. There was black paint on my driver side rear tire rim. His wife and kids were there and his wife took my into the office to pay. I told her that I did not want to pay and did not want to take the car in that condition because it looked like there was more damage then when I took it to him on Tuesday. I had to tell [redacted] that I would not take the car in that condition and I would give him as long as it took to fix the car. He told me to leave it and to come pick it up next day 8/30/13. I came back 8/30/13 and took car, damages were extensive after washing it.Desired Settlement: I want to take it to another body shop to fix the damages they have caused to my car at their expense.
