Last fall, I asked J & J Masonry Solutions to provide an estimate to repair and resolve a water puddling problem on my cement walkway around my house. J&J's recommended solution was to level the low spots by applying a thin filler coat and then a skim-coat over the entire walkway. The results looked nice at first but in just one winter, the entire job is chipping and pealing off. The walkway is much worse than it was before the job. I have left several emails and voice-mails to them but they have not responded in 2 months.

The results looked nice at first but in just one winter, the entire job is chipping and pealing. The walkway is much worse than it was before the job and I worry that someone will slip on the chips and injure themselves. I have left several emails and voice-mails to them but they have not responded in 2 months.Desired Settlement: A permanent solution to the puddling problem on my walkway that won't break down in one winter.

Response:
We have resolved the issue with the customer. Due to miscommunication on our contacts with the Revdex.com our contact information was never changed as our email address was hacked into last year. That is why our emails were never received. We have responded to the customer an we will be addressing the situation immediately.
Thank you.

Response:
I have been contacted by the contractor and we have identified the communication problem that led to my complaint. The contractor has agreed to access the damage and provide an action plan to resolve the issue. At this time, no resolution has been provided but the contractor appears anxious to examine the damage and provide a solution. I am waiting for them to come by next week.
