Review: My husband took scrap metal/copper/brass to J & J on 10-13-14. They, J & J Metals, wrote up itemized bill of $51.48 (attached), which they owed us. At the time, J & J said it was a holiday and since banks were not opened, no cash given. He was told to come back on the following Monday. Every time my husband went to office, no one was there each Monday. One Monday, someone was there but they said they weren't authorized to give out cash.Desired Settlement: We want our $51.48 or the equivalent of the materials we submitted so that we can re-sell to a more reputable company. We called another number for J & J (###-###-####) and they also kept telling us to go on Monday to Hayesville, NC location. As of 11/4/14, the ###-###-#### has not been in service.
