The company told me that a ring including sizing was $60. I put down a $10 refundable deposit on 11/19/11. The female employee wrote down the price including sizing ("ring + sizing $60")on the deposit slip. I gave the deposit slip to the young man who was buying the ring for his "anniversary" with his girlfriend. He went to the establishment and paid another $10 and asked them to size the ring. When he went to pick up the ring, the final cost of the ring was $75! The owner had wanted to charge the young man $80. When the young man contested the amount, he gave the deposit slip to the male owner, who ripped it up in front of his face. The boy was desperate to give the ring to his girlfriend (it was their anniversary), so he agreed to pay $75. The business took unfair advantage of the young man and breached its contract with me. When I asked that the $15 be refunded, the owner would only give me the money back if I returned the ring - obviously an untenable option given the character of the transaction.
