Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have no idea what you mean by you replaced core support and headlight with hood latch or whatevermy hood latch is still broke and you did not fixAs far as you getting the parts back and giving a refundlike I keep saying that would be pretty hard to do considering the only thing that you put different on it was the used top bumper piece which is used and I wanted newThe headlight which is used and I wanted new which you charged for as new by the way! I'm not asking for a refund for what legitimately has been put on and newWhat I want is a refund for the hood which is my same hood that you painted and tried to pass off as newread the text messages to refresh your memory!! I know now You charged me for a hood that was already mine !! You charged me for a used scratched pitted top bumper!!Nothing what you said in the text messages you did and I'm tired of you lying about it !!! these are some of the text between you and I and none of what you said you didI already posted all of the dialogue between us in a previous messageClearly you don't tell the truth often if at all!!! Subaru Outback The shop was in compliance, the front and rear brakes were replaced along with turning the rotors twice The quality of the brake pads that Mr [redacted] is referring to, is the manufacturer who makes the pads Subaru Legacy L Mr [redacted] was told personally and on the warranty it states to bring the Engine in after so many miles, for a oil change And J & K Automotive will do the oil change This is so that the shop can check out the oil that came out of the motor, for inspection Mr [redacted] decided to do the oil change him self, that automatic void's all warranty on the engine Don't even know if he put the right oil in the new engine The engine that Mr [redacted] has in the Subaru right now, can be fixed There is a leaky gasket The shop has offered to fix the gasket, but Mr [redacted] declined stating he wants a new motor The shop has spent over $dollars out of pocket, on parts and labor The shop has tried to please Mr [redacted] in so many ways with his issue's J & K will refund Mr [redacted] $for the brakesAs for the engine in the Subaru, Mr [redacted] can bring it back to the shop, and we will gladly fix the leaky gasket Mr [redacted] failed to comply with the manufacturers warranty with the engine So the year warranty is void

I have read the complaint and a few points need to be brought upthe customer [redacted] was the name we were given, called my shop and had asked if we could take a look at his daughters Audi and see if there is any thing we can do to fix itwe looked the car over and spent a few hours finding the parts and going back and forth of getting prices straightHe had asked me if I could just fix the damage with what was there, and asked what would u do to make it look betterwe told him we might be able to fix whats there and also advised him that we could get used parts and make it look better, he did not want to buy brand new aftermarket parts, also didn't want to put a bunch of money into the carWe had given him a quote over the phone of $3,while working on the car we noticed that the front brakes in the car were extremely bad, we tried to get a hold of [redacted] , to ask if he would like those done as well, he didn't answer but his daughter the owner of the car said to go ahead and do it, which then brought the price up to $3,we had ordered all the parts to fix the car, and when the car was completed the father had called and paid with his credit card over the phoneAfter the job was completed she had came in and approved it 100%, and was even shown the old hood when it was leaning up against the building in front of the carShe did come bake for the headlight not working and we replaced it for free, as well as we were able to open the hood just fine to get in there to replace the light bulb, every time the daughter came to the shop and left she used the parking lot as a speedway and took off very fast from the shopshe can and dropped the car off for us to fix the bumper but where we had ordered the bumper from there was a delay in getting up to the businessI have every receipt here at the shop for all the parts we ordered for her cari also have alot of text messages on my phone from the daughter on my phone, but would never once call the business or come to the businesswe ordered the new bumper and a hood latch but will not come in to take car of the issue, As well as the coolant issue, I know that we had put coolant in the car because we had just gotten a new coolant vacuum and I was showing my tech how to use it, and alot of the delay was due to holiday season

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: we have all txt msg that state us wanting new parts over and overNot once did he address any questions I had or address the txt telling him new partsThey absolutely did not show me my old hood and there was no hood leaning up againt the building When I asked a few questions about bumper when I picked up car they were trying to distract me and flat out lied by saying it was suppose to look like it didWhen I got the car home is when I was able to inspect it more without them trying to distract meI can clearly see without a doubt that it is the same hood on my car and can see the exact spot where it was wrecked and fixedI am the one that had car towed there as it was the closest place still open to where accident happenedI gave them my phone number and they said they would call meThey figured I was an easy mark because I did not live in same town and my dad who was paying for it over the phone was out of stateI did take it back there when he said he ordered new bunperI told him several times I did not want to bring it to just have it sit there and kept asking if bumper was already delivered thereHe would never answer me and kept saying just bring it inI live an hour away so not convienient for meIt sat there in the same spot I left it for another week untouched He kept saying bumper delayed and I picked up car and he said he would call me when it came inI never to this day have gotten that callYes I kept texting him as he told me to do so when I spoke to him on his business phone which I called to speak with himHe said text anytime because he takes care of his businessHe would not answer business phone ir return my calls so I only had text to resort to As to using parking lot as a race trackThat is laughableAnyone who has ever been there knows the lit is a mess with cars and people everywhereIt is impossible to go through there at any kind of fast speed due to it also being small lot The only time he listened to me was when I gave them the go ahead to do brakes cuz that was money in there pocketNo other time would he listen to what I wanted when it came to the used parts he was putting on car and charging as if new as well as lying about replacing my hoodBlatent lies If he has every receipt then why has he not provided them to me as ive been asking for a breakdown from the beginning of what he said he did and have yet to recieve anythingHe just ignored the requests The last time I was there to pick up my car after it sitting for a week untouched tito was hiding around corner in the shop telling the guy at front desk to give her her keys so I would just go away Sincerely, [redacted]

We understand the customers frustration, diesel repair can be time consuming and often expensive. The truck was towed in for a no start / not running conditionAfter we did some repairs to get it started and
running we found additional problemsYes we did call several times because we can only tackle and solve one problem at a timeWe kept the husband informed after each problem was repairedWe had to wait for his authorization to continue. When he gave us authorization for the next step, we continued on, that’s what we are required to doThe original large fuel leak was from the fuel lines under the fuel filter housing, after we repaired them the large fuel leak stoppedOur warranty is for the repairs that “we completed” not for any other items that we did not work onWe do not know of anybody’s warranty that covers “everything” even if it was not worked on by themIf we repaired it we will warranty what we repaired, plain and simple We did inform them the fuel pump had a small leak and they declined it“We will have to wait” we were toldNow the leak has gotten worseIf they require help with the fuel pump replacement we can help them with that (at a discount) but not replace it totally under a warranty situationWe did not remove or repair that fuel pump in question

I have read the complaint and a few points need to be brought up. the customer [redacted] was the name we were given, called my shop and had asked if we could take a look at his daughters Audi and see if there is any thing we can do to fix it. we looked the car over and spent a few hours finding the...

After the job was completed she had came in and approved it 100%, and was even shown the old hood when it was leaning up against the building in front of the car. They figured I was an easy mark because I did not live in same town and my dad who was paying for it over the phone was out of state. I did take it back there when he said he ordered new bunper. I told him several times I did not want to bring it to just have it sit there and kept asking if bumper was already delivered there. He would never answer me and kept saying just bring it in. I live an hour away so not convienient for me. It sat there in the same spot I left it for another week untouched . He kept saying bumper delayed and I picked up car and he said he would call me when it came in. I never to this day have gotten that call. Yes I kept texting him as he told me to do so when I spoke to him on his business phone which I called to speak with him. He said text anytime because he takes care of his business. He would not answer business phone ir return my calls so I only had text to resort to.  As to using parking lot as a race track. That is laughable. Anyone who has ever been there knows the lit is a mess with cars and people everywhere. It is impossible to go through there at any kind of fast speed due to it also being small lot .  The only time he listened to me was when I gave them the go ahead to do brakes cuz that was money in there pocket. No other time would he listen to what I wanted when it came to the used parts he was putting on car and charging as if new as well as lying about replacing my hood. Blatent lies.  If he has every receipt then why has he not provided them to me as ive been asking for a breakdown from the beginning of what he said he did and have yet to recieve anything. He just ignored the requests.  The last time I was there to pick up my car after it sitting for a week untouched tito was hiding around corner in the shop telling the guy at front desk to give her her keys so I would just go away.

Here is the rest of the invoices, as you can see the hood latch and core support have been replaced with the headlights. like I have stated before I will refund money only if I put the old parts back on the car and take the ones we put on it. we have told you several times bring your car in and never did. and when u did we didn't even have the parts to fix it and wouldn't wait for it.

On April 10th, 2014, I paid J+K $3281.98 to replace the motor in my 2002 Subaru Legacy L. That engine proved to be faulty. Around June 13th, 2014, J+K supposedly replaced the engine again. That engine proved to be faulty also. On Nov 7th, 2014, J+K supposedly replaced the engine again. That engine...

proved to be faulty also. J+K agreed to replace the engine again, but on Jan 14th, 2016, J+K refused to honor the 2 year warranty on the engine.
Refund of the $2250.00 I paid for the motor.

The first engine was 4/3/2014 and the invoice number is 131574 for the 2002 Legacy Outback and the engine number was EJ25-048451. The second engine was 6/9/2014 and the invoice number was 1327496 and the engine number is EJ25-220968 SLK41132. The third engine 11/18/2014 invoice number was 135632 and engine number was EJ25-424642. We will be mailing out a copy of the warranty, however, we cannot mail out copies of the invoices that is why I gave you the invoice numbers and engine numbers.

2008 Subaru Outback
The shop was in compliance,  the front and rear brakes were replaced along with turning the rotors twice.  The quality of the brake pads that Mr. [redacted] is referring to, is the manufacturer who makes the pads.
2002 Subaru Legacy L
Mr. [redacted] was told personally and on the warranty it states to bring the Engine in after so many miles, for a oil change.  And J & K Automotive will do the oil change.  This is so that the shop can check out the oil that came out of the motor, for inspection.  Mr. [redacted] decided to do the oil change him self,  that automatic void's all warranty on the engine.   Don't even know if he put the right oil in the new engine.
The engine that Mr. [redacted] has in the Subaru right now, can be fixed.  There is a leaky gasket.  The shop has offered to fix the gasket, but Mr. [redacted] declined stating he wants a new motor.  
The shop has spent over $1100.00 dollars out of pocket, on parts and labor.  
The shop has tried to please Mr. [redacted] in so many ways with his issue's.
J & K will refund Mr. [redacted] $240.00 for the brakes. As for the engine in the Subaru, Mr. [redacted] can bring it back to the shop, and we will gladly fix the leaky gasket.  Mr. [redacted] failed to comply with the manufacturers warranty with the engine.  So the 2 year warranty is void.
