We went above and beyond to help this customerShe had an extended warranty for six months which covered the engine and transmissionAfter months of driving the antifreeze hose separated and all the antifreeze leaked out which overheated the engine which could have been prevented if stopped on
timeExtended warranty denied the claim for customer negligence by not pulling over when engine overheatedShe was out of warranty with our dealership after three months and out of respect and courtesy we helped her and paid for all the labor and parts to replace the engine when we're not responsible for itShe left very happy and her father called us and thanked us for doing right by his daughterAfter months of driving I received a call from her with a list of maintenance repairs that she wanted us to pay for which were the following brakes AC service control arm and power steering serviceI explained to her that all of these issues were the result of driving in NYC local roads which the customer is responsible for especially after months of useWe agreed to help her with half of the maintenance repairs to keep her happyShe then thanked us for being fairI believe we were more than fair. When the vehicle was purchased in there were no issues with the carWe submitted the title to DMV with the correct actual mileage of 14,The DMV made an error and issued the title with 144,milesThe carfax automatically reported odometer rollback due to the DMV mistakeCustomer
contacted me to fix this issueI spoke to Albany title Department and they confirmed their mistake with the odometer and stated they would reissue the title with correct mileageIt took them over a year to perfect a titleAt the time of sale their were no reports of a frame damage with carfaxCustomer called us in and stated that he wanted to trade in the vehicle to another dealership and that dealership rejected the vehicle for trade in due to odometer rollback issues reported on carfaxI informed the customer that if he is not satisfied with the car he is welcome to trade the vehicle in with us for another vehicleHe stated that he would think about it and nothing transpiredA few months later he contacted us and stated that he was having mechanical issues with the vehicleWe had informed him that he had no warranty with us and as a courtesy we agreed to pay for the repairs in the amount of $1,due to the inconvenience he had with the DMVA year later he contacted us and stated he had wiring issues with the harness and asked us to help himWe told him we will be willing to pay half of the bill to repair the harness $1,out of the $2,even though he was still out of warrantyHe had stated he would get back to us and we never heard from himThe customer had a low credit history at the time of purchase of the vehicle and has the same history nowWe worked with him every step of the way and gave him the opportunity to get out of the vehicle by trading in.He stated he was very satisfied with us helping him with the repairs when he was out of warranty
