Review: Jeff Baumiller, who is the owner of JB Constructions had contracted to work on my basement (a single media room and a bath, in addition to fixing the baseboards of my basement) and have this completed within 4-6 weeks.

After more than 11 weeks, one fine day, he simply refused to complete the work when I asked him about the time frame at which this would be completed.

My basement was left half done and left me with no choice but getting some other contractors to complete this.

The guy has taken more than 80% of the contract money and he has completely refused to refund my money - I'm finding out that this guy has duped quite a few people in the neighborhood. His standard contract included 50% of the contracted amount upfront and then set up the rest of the payments as work progresses - he took his second installments as well without completing the first part of his commitment, which I, in good faith, went ahead and paid him along with the cost of an additional door (he charged me $85.00 for that and I found out this is priced at $45.00 only).

I've left him messages, asking him to refund the 2nd installment - the one I paid ($1250.00), because of his failure to honor the contract.Desired Settlement: Want second installment ($1250.00) to be refunded.

Also, want Revdex.com to keep a record for this guy and let other unsuspecting people off this sort of sordid business
