Dear Revdex.com, Our customers are informed to Open and Inspect their delivery BEFORE they sign for itThese terms and conditions are on our website and initialed by the customer prior to completing the transaction and specifically state DO Not accept damaged goodsIf a customer does not take the
time to open and inspect the delivered merchandise and signs for it free and clear, it is now their responsibility and Norwall is no longer able to intervene between the carrier and customerOnce the customer signs and accepts delivery, they are required to file and manage a claim with the carrier themselvesNorwall makes every effort to insure that all shipments are damage free upon shipment

Here is a timeline and correspondence with the customerHe asked for replacement of air cleaner which we providedHe then after asking for only replacement of air cleaner, wanted a lid.Email from customer on 7/about receiving his generator I received my generator todayThere's was no apparent damage to the shipping boxI removed the box and inspected there was no visible damageHowever, after returning home from work I removed the generator transfer switch and there was a dent on the top lid of the generatorAfter opening the top lid the plastic air cleaner cover is cracked and needs to be replaced. 8/I ordered customer a new air cleaner cover, no charge, emailed customer notice of this courtesy 8/His response was the followingWhat about the generator lid? It's dented upThe customer provided pictures and video of unit being delivered. Pictures customer sent showing unit on the installation pad customer had prepared. Video customer provided did not show him removing carton while carrier was still on site. It also shows unit was shrink wrapped which is not the way the generator is shipped 8/I followed up with an estimate for a new lid and claim form to file with the carrier that delivered the unit 8/Carrier denied the customers claim saying there was no evidence the damage occurred during shipping
