To Whom It May Concern,I have never filed a report to the Revdex.com, but I feel that this is necessary because I am very unhappy with J Bar J Meats. They are lying, and this makes me more unhappy than I was to begin with. We stopped by the business on 10/27/17, and spoke with one of the workers. We told him that we wanted the meat cut off the bone and wanted it ground and sliced for jerky. My husband explained that he was previously a meat cutter but did not have the equipment to do this. He told us that we could leave the deer, and the owner, his boss, would call us to see what we needed done. About minutes or so after we left, the owner called us back. My husband was driving , so he put him on speaker phone so I could hear everything. My husband told him that he wanted it cut off the bone and ground and sliced to make jerky. My husband told him that he was a meat cutter but did not have the equipment at home to grind or slice. He agreed that he could have this done in time for my daughter to pick up two days later. He said he would charge $to cut off the bone, grind, slice for jerky and put in pound packages. When my daughter picked up on Sunday, nothing was ground or sliced, so she called my husband. He talked with the owner who denied that he knew he was supposed to grind or slice and package the meat as he had told us in pound packages. Does he not write down his orders so that he knows what needs to be done? Apparently not. I called him that same day and told him that I was very disappointed with him and his company. He told me to go get my money back. After I hung up, I thought I should call him back and ask him for my money back, at least some of it. So I called him back, and he was very defensive with me. He told me that if I was going to report me to the Revdex.com, he would report me for not submitting my license. I told him that I didn’t know it had to be turned in, and no one from his business ever asked for it. I told him that I have nothing to hide, we had whatever we needed, and he hung up on me. I tried to call him back, but he wouldn’t answer. If this is the way he runs his business, it is very sad. He charged me full price, and did very little of what we asked him to do.Hope this explains our situation.Sincerely,*** ***

To whom it may concern, When Mr. [redacted] contacted the J Bar J it was on the afternoon of 10-27-17. He had been a butcher for many years. He had a deer he needed to cool so he could make into jerky and be ready to travel in two days. That is not something we usually do; the meat has to be cooled to...

38 Degrees to cut. He told us he understood that, just to chuck it out; he wanted to make jerky himself. Mr. V[redacted] asked several times if he wanted his meat sliced for jerky and was told by Mr. [redacted] that he was a butcher and wanted to slice it and season it himself. Two employees also witnessed these conversations. When we recieved his deer it had to be cleaned and for the coolers. On Sunday 10-29-17 at 7:30 am there were three people working on Mr. [redacted]' deer meat. Chunking it out, wrapping it, and packaging it before 10:00 am for travel. We are sorry for the inconvience; we try to write down what our customers want. Sometimes it can get confusing. Mr. V[redacted] has been established in Bloomfield for 35 years and has never had anything happen like this before. He doesn't advertise and has the same clientel yearly. J Bar J is a small business and employer. His customers are very important to him.Sincerely,Joe V[redacted]

throughout the field. The meat shop is cleaned with bleach and Dawn Soap after every use. Mr. V[redacted] is raising his grandsons and they recycle cans and other recyclable plastics and paper. We are sorry for the inconvience to Mr. [redacted]; if he had asked for a reciept he would have been given one. Sorry we apologize. Sincerely,Joe A. V[redacted]
