J. Berger Construction

Review: I had [redacted] of J. Berger Construction in Greensburg,Pa replace the siding and shutters on my house in the summer of 2012. After he completed the job (a week later than quoted), I had to have him come back to fix pieces that were already falling off. He came back and repaired the pieces and told me that if it happens again he will come out and fix it. Well this past week (1-27-14) I had multiple pieces fall off and break on the back side again, with other pieces barely hanging on. I called [redacted] and left a message of what happened and asked if he could please come out and fix the pieces because the weather was going to get bad again. I never got a return call so I emailed and called him 2 more times. I explained to him the pieces that were still hanging were banging against the house making our dog bark and keeping our 3 month old child awake. I still never received a response. I then had another individual come out and repair the siding. After examining the house, he found that there were many more pieces of siding that were loose and that there were barely any nails holding the siding on. He also explained that the nails used for the siding were too short and that I will probably have issues again in the future. I again called [redacted] and had to leave a message explaining what was found. Still waiting for a response.Desired Settlement: I want him to come back out and fix all the loose pieces and to put more nails all over the house to ensure this will not happen again. If he doesn't want to repair his mistakes then I would like a monetary reimbursement so I can have another contractor come out and do the repairs.
