J. Boober Construction

Review: J. Boober construction added a 3rd bay to our existing garage in April-June 2012. We also contracted them to sheetrock, tape and paint both the new and existing garages at the same time. In January of 2013 we noticed the walls cracking where we believe the tape is on the sheetrock. There are several spots of this problem. We sent a text to [redacted] in January about getting this repaired as the work was not done properly the first time. In the text message reply [redacted] said he 'will take care of taping' when he gets back from vacation the following week. On return from his vacation we called [redacted] and he sent a text that he would stop by on January 23rd to look at the taping and another job we had in mind for him. Upon his review of the problem, he acknowledged that the taping does need repair and it would best to do that after winter when it is not as cold. We made several calls to him in the spring and each time he told us that his taper is very busy and he would call us back. But to date he has not called us back and has not returned several calls since then. We called on June 5th and he said he would call us back when he spoke to his taper. We never heard back from him. We called again on July 12th and have not gotten a call back.

Desired Settlement: We feel we have been more than patient and we deserve to get our poor taping job repaired as soon as possible. We should not have to wait this long for a repair on work that was paid for but not completed properly. At this point we would like the Revdex.com to help us get our work completed in a timely and professional manner. This includes proper taping of the sheetrock and repainting of all the affected areas. Thank you in advance for your help.
