Review: We had ordered a suit from the sales associate at this location, three-four weeks prior to needing the item. They didn't have it in stock and proceeded to order the item online. We were originally promised that it would be in by the time we got married. Which is what the suit was for. Come to find 4 days before our plane leaves the only item that arrived was the pants, not the jacket, they put it on back order. We immediately returned the pants that came in and called the customer services number to cancel the online order that was placed. After we cancelled the order, two days later they charged my card for the jacket. I again immediately called to correct the situation. They stated, "well we figured it was coming in so we would ship it to you" even after I called and cancelled the order. I proceeded to tell the JCP associate "NO" and to refund my money ASAP so that I can hurry and purchase another suit for my fiancé so the funds would not be held up. They said that they would put a rush and make urgent to the corporate office. Guess what, it took a week for the charge to be refunded. We ended up being in a time crunch to get a suit, now 3 days before our plane left. Having no other options, we decided to go back to JCP and try another suit that was in stock. We were given a 10% discount, which didn't even cover the alterations that needed to be completed. I wasted a ton of time on the phone and going to get the suit altered. I called JCP headquarters a few times as well as JCP.com customer service and neither were of any help to compensate the troubles I had to endure through the whole process, which was going to be for the most important day. All anyone said was sorry but we cant help you. I find this very unacceptable for a big company such as JCP to not compensate in any way. Very Upset Customer, and to think I even went back to make another purchase.Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for the cost of the suit which was $94.00. That will make up for the amount of gas, time and additional money spent on alterations. Not to mention I was on the phone six time for a total of four hours trying to get help.
