I am rejecting this response because: My itinerary does not provide detailed information of any kind regarding cancellation or feesI have my itinerary saved in email and none of that information is providedRegardless of not purchasing insurance, my concerns are validInsurance is irrelevant when we are speaking on the value of human life which is worth more than $cancellation feeThis business should operate on good judgement and principal and should be more than willing to work with usAgain, I do not haveany contract that provides any information on cancellationI will continue to file complaints with the necessary people until this situation is remedied

We have responded to the Travel Consumer Restitution Corp (TCRC) where Ms*** has also lodged a formal complaint against our agencyMs*** purchased a travel package for Cancun from my agency on February 8, 2018, which includes r/t airfare for people from SFO to Cancun in December this
year and staying at an all inclusive resort for nights and r/t airport transportation to/from the hotelAt the time of Ms***'s purchase of the vacation package, she was offered to purchase travel insurance which would allow her to cancel or make changes to her reservation without any penalty fees assessedOn or about April 13, 2018, Ms*** contacted the agent in my office that booked her vacation package and inquired about making a change to her scheduled vacation to Cancun because of the negative media she just learned about in CancunThe agent informed Ms*** that there would be penalties assessed and would get back to her to let her know how much it would cost to change the destination from Cancun to Costa Rica (Ms*** requested Costa Rica)When the agent from my office informed Ms*** that the airline would be charging a fee of $per person, Ms*** stated that she would not make any changes to the vacation package because she did not want to loose $of the $that she had already paid towards the vacation packageMs*** has purchased a prior vacation package with my agency and did not purchase any travel protection for her previous trip either and again, declined to purchase the travel protection for this trip which she was informed had to be paid at the time deposit was due -- Ms*** elected not to pay for the insurance at the time she made a deposit for her vacation packageIt is standard practice that the airlines charge change fees and Ms*** is attempting to either make a change or cancel her trip to Cancun altogether without incurring these charges that are common to the travel industryIf Ms*** had purchased the travel insurance, there would not be any problems with her change request however, because she declined the insurance, she is subject to the fees charged by the airlines to make any changeI use a tour operator to book the vacation packages and submit all monies directly to the tour operators who are also subject to the rules and regulations pertaining to airline changesMs*** received her booking itinerary confirmation after her deposit was made which provide clear information stating that "All changes are subject to availability and limitations and restrictions of the airline, hotel, and ground transportation or other service provider

I also don't recall her sending me an email asking me if I want to purchase insuranceI did not see the email until she forward it to me todayFurthermore , she cannot prove that I declined the insuranceShe states that the contract is $per person to cancel but in previous conversations she told me $Her information is not consistent and I would like a refundMy next step is to file in small claims court since they want to make this difficult
