RE: COMPLAINT [redacted] VS& J& D AUTO SALESTo Whom It May Concern,I am in receipt of the above referenced complaint regarding the sale of a [redacted] Van [redacted] purchased this vehicle on March of this year.To begin, Ms [redacted] signed the TERMS OF WARRANTY checked off “NO WARRANTY" with a notation sold “as is seen” on the Bill of SaleShe clearly both initialed and signed that area acknowledging the terms of the saleIn addition, she was offered the opportunity to take this vehicle to a mechanic of her choosing to have it Inspected prior to purchaseShe declined to do van.It should be noted that Ms [redacted] has not contacted me directly since the purchase of this vehicleShe has had some pretty rude males call, but she has not contacted me herself.The quote that Ms [redacted] provided from a Mr [redacted] with her complaint calls for front wheel bearings, front struts and rear shocksThis work was complete prior to her purchase of the vehicle and the vehicle passed RI state inspection and has a valid Inspection sticker on itI have receipts for the work that was done to this vehicleThis vehicle was completely safe and road ready when Ms [redacted] left with it on March 27.With regard to the transmission, an unidentified man called my number on April stating that the transmission was bad and I needed to refund Ms [redacted] s moneyThe next day, a person identifying himself as Ms [redacted] ’s mechanic called from an area code and stated that the transmission had a problem and the transmission pan was “caved in" from running something over I can guarantee that the transmission was not like that when it left my lotThis vehicle was up on a lift while being repaired and no damage to the transmission pan was ever noted.Ms [redacted] and a man drove this vehicle prior to purchaseThey looked it over completelyThey were offered the opportunity to take it to their mechanicAll prior to purchaseI am affronted that Ms [redacted] is now trying to return the vehicle that did not have transmission damage when it left my lot.In addition, when the mechanic called me, I offered to have Ms [redacted] bring the vehicle back and I would take a look at it myselfI have not seen the vehicle since it left my lot.I have never had a complaint filed with the the Revdex.comIn order to create repeat sales, I absolutely ensure that the vehicles I sell are clean, safe and dependableI am taken aback to have a complaint filed nowAccording to Ms [redacted] ’s complaint, she not only filed this with your agency, but also with the [redacted] , the RI Division of [redacted] and [redacted] I am certainly very sorry if Ms [redacted] is no longer happy with the vehicle she purchased and presumably ran something over with and is trying to return But this did not happen on my watch.I would be more than happy to discuss the complaintI can be reached anytime at ###-###-####.Sincerely, [redacted] President J & D Auto Sales, Inc

I am affronted that Ms. [redacted] is now trying to return the vehicle that did not have transmission damage when it left my lot.In addition, when the mechanic called me, I offered to have Ms. [redacted] bring the vehicle back and I would take a look at it myself. I have not seen the vehicle since it left my lot.I have never had a complaint filed with the the Revdex.com. In order to create repeat sales, I absolutely ensure that the vehicles I sell are clean, safe and dependable. I am taken aback to have a complaint filed now. According to Ms. [redacted]’s complaint, she not only filed this with your agency, but also with the [redacted], the RI  Division of [redacted] and [redacted] I am certainly very sorry if Ms. [redacted] is no longer happy with the vehicle she purchased and presumably ran something over with and is trying to return.  But this did not happen on my watch.I would be more than happy to discuss the complaint.
