I am writing in reference to an account showing on my credit report and after reviewing my credit report I am showing where *** have reported wrong dates for Last payments made on the account. It states the car was repossessed and closed on 9/30/2015. I am showing a last payment made on 9/12/2016 on my Transunion report and a last payment made on 9/1/2016 on my Equifax report. The car was not in my possession at all during the year of 2016. I was not made aware of any selling of the car or received any notification or paperwork as to what happened to the car or if a balance was owed.

Desired Settlement ID: Correction to a credit report I would like for this account to be removed from all 3 credit bureaus that is reporting. And to not have any future contact with the creditor.
The information reporting to the credit bureaus on *** is correct. Mr. account was charged off for non payment on 09/17/2015. He was still in possession of the vehicle until it was repossessed on 10/14/2015. The customer called and asked what he needed to do to get the vehicle back and was given the amount and he said he would try to borrow it. We had the vehicle held for customer for 30 days at the storage lot to see if he could retain the vehicle. Mr *** went to the storage lot on 11/05/2015 and obtained the items that were in the vehicle. On 11/06/2015 we mailed a Notice to Sale to customer @ *** CR *** FT *** TX XXXXX which he provided to us as his home address when he moved to Texas. The car was then taken to the auction where it was ran throw the auction and was sold. The payment that shows being posted to his account on 09/12/2016 was the funds we received from the sale of his vehicle.
