In the case of [redacted] , we have reviewed this matter with the full cooperation of the J.DByrider/ [redacted] franchise in question Ms [redacted] is upset regarding her account As a result, she would like to return her vehicle and have her contract cancelled Ms [redacted] purchased a ***on June 19, from the J.DByrider franchise located in East Stroudsburg, PA Prior to purchase, Ms [redacted] went through a closing procedure where the contract was reviewed During this time, the purchase price and financing terms were explained to her Once she stated that she understood the agreement, she then signed her name to the contractComparing the purchase of a vehicle through the J.DByrider program to the pricing listed from a third-party is not an accurate measurement of vehicle value The vehicles that are sold through J.DByrider undergo not only a comprehensive pre-sale inspection, but also a significant reconditioning process prior to sale A third-party’s estimated resale value of the vehicle would not take these factors into consideration The purchase price of the vehicle was clearly outlined in the Retail Installment Contract and Security Agreement signed by Ms [redacted] at the time of purchase, and was referenced multiple times throughout theclosing process The J.DByrider/ [redacted] franchise denies misleading Ms [redacted] in any way regarding her purchase Per management, [redacted] has no record of speaking with Ms [redacted] regarding her account Account notes indicate that Ms [redacted] ’s first contractual payment is due August 28, J.D Byrider strives to achieve the satisfaction of each and every customer The J.DByrider/ [redacted] franchise was sorry to learn of Ms [redacted] ’s dissatisfaction as expressed in her complaint to your office Nevertheless, the J.D Byrider/ [redacted] franchise is unable to adhere to Ms [redacted] ’s requested resolution to accept her vehicle back and cancel her contract. The J.DByrider/ [redacted] franchise will continue to accommodate Ms [redacted] to the best of their abilities, and hopes to move forward amicably in their relationship with herThanks, J.DByrider/ [redacted] Customer Service

I test drove a *** *** from said dealer on Friday, August 24th I was told vehicle had no issues as compared to other two vehicles that I was shown After agreeing to go with vehicle; upon driving home noticed issues with front end and rear, advised the dealer that I was not comfortable driving vehicle, they responded saying contact service for any issues On top of those issues now the check engine light has come on With that I have returned vehicle back to dealer because I refuse to drive a vehicle that has issues within a few days of purchasing with the dealer not trying to offer a better solution

Great Place to by a car it was easy and they did what they said they could do to help us

In
the case of *** ***, we have reviewed this matter with the full
cooperation of the J.DByrider/CNAC franchise in question. Mr*** is upset regarding the CNAC
franchise’s
application process
Records indicate that Mr*** visited the
J.DByrider/CNAC franchise located in Easton, PA on June 2,
to apply for auto-financing.
Unfortunately, Mr***’s application was denied. Per management, Mr*** did not have a
valid Pennsylvania driver’s license. He
supplied CNAC with a Pennsylvania identification card. Contrary to Mr***’s original complaint,
CNAC did not pull his credit. Whenapplyingfor credit, Mr*** provided his
consent for the CNAC franchise to review his credit bureau. CNAC reviews the potential customer’s current
financial obligations, as well as their previous payment history in order to
determine their repayment ability. Please understand that the CNAC
franchise holds this responsibility in the highest regard, and takes all of the
appropriate underwriting steps in order to ensure a sensible lending decision
is reached
Mr*** should be aware that a review of
his credit bureau is not the same as pulling his numerical credit score.
The CNAC franchise does not believe that basing a lending decision solely upon
a consumer’s numerical credit score is an accurate measure of future repayment
ability. For this reason, CNAC reviews theapplyingcustomer’s credit bureau, but does not
pull their numerical credit score. The J.DByrider/CNAC franchise prides
itself in providing consumers with less than ideal credit afinancingoption, and wants consumers to
understand that a low numerical credit score will not solely disqualify them
from receivingfinancing.
Per
management, Mr***’sapplication was denied due to not having a valid driver’s
license and because his income to expenditures did not provide an excess that
was able to support an automobile payment. Mr***’s credit score was
not pulled nor reviewed during the underwriting process
J.D
Byrider strives to achieve the satisfaction of each and every customer.
The J.DByrider/CNAC franchise was sorry to learn of Mr***’s
dissatisfaction as expressed in his complaint to your office. The J.D
Byrider/CNAC franchise welcomes Mr*** to contact the dealership directly
to further discuss the application process, and
answer any questions that he may have. Please
call ###-###-#### and ask to
speak with the Sales Manager

Great Place to by a car it was easy and they did what they said they could do to help us

In April I began to finance my *** *** from JD Byrider*** is the loan holder located the physical address in Easton PA with P# ###-###-#### The are reporting to my credit bureau under *** - *** *** * *** **, EAST STROUDSBURG, PA *** P# ###-###-####I have been a loyal customer since 4/my 1st late payment on 8/6/I contacted *** with *** to let here know I would pay the missed payment over the with next two paymentThere didn't seem to be a problemSo after I paid the first portion two weeks later I received a phone call from *** saying I called to remind you your payment is dueI responded with you don't need to call meWhen I called her back I let her know I wasn't going to be able to make it there before they closedI could pay as I have done in the past over the phone, however $dollars I would need to bring in physically since it not on my debit cardThat where things went out of controlMy payment wasn't acceptedEven after I

Do not purchase a car from this companyLet's be honest you only shop here if you are desperate and you cannot go to a regular dealerThey know this and they use it to quote you a ridiculous price for an old, high mileage car with an exorbitant interest rateYou take the deal and you'll regret it for an undetermined amount to years! I give this company two stars because they will report to the credit bureau faithfully and if you are timely with your payments it will benefit youYou also, however, will get some kind of service contract to get work done on your old vehicle that will DEFINITELY have problemsThey lose the other three stars because they are in the business of overcharging poor, needy people for old, high mileage cars that are worth one tenth of the sticker price
The Kelly Blue Book price of the heap that I accepted was $1,and they charged me $10,plus interest which would have me pay nearly $18,by the end of the termI drove off of the lot having only paid a $down payment as they advertised but this was a blatant lieThey forced me to pay $every two weeks for two months BEFORE my car payments even beganThey called these (fees) but after reading the paperwork I saw that this was the actual down payment, not the $My down payment therefore was the blue book price of the vehicle and everything else I paid for the next year and a half was their capital gain
Let it also be noted that you'll pay every two weeks, not bi-monthly so if you get paid three times in one month you will be paying them three times, not twoAnd note that the way the interest compounds you'll barely make a dent in the debt so after nearly two years of payments I had paid less than $on the principal! This place is a rip off and you are actually signing yourself into indentured servitude and you will pay for this garbage car foreverIf you attempt to buy another car, they ADD the balance of this crap car to that and your car note will be ridiculously high so this car cannot be used as a trade inMy advice, go anywhere else

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/22) */
In regards to the above complaint, the cusotmer was late on payments and did not come in the exact day promisedOn a new loan this is worrisome as we pride ourselves in helping people improve their credit alsoAs far as our other actions,
whether right or wrong, this is not how we do businessThe customer now has the vehicle and we are rewriting the loan on the pay dates that she says are correct so there should be no further problems
The customer is a valued client and we look forward to a good relationship going forward for both partiesWe have been part of this franchise for over years and currently have over active customers and pride ourselves with our record with the Revdex.com and government agencies
